I have been a long time KF player. Currently playing on modded servers and realize the download of resources is sometimes slow or too bad to be usable.
I used to run KF dedicated server but just found it too much of a hassle to maintain or get the mods working. At least as compared to my other dedicated servers. I always used a separate download server via a fast CDN and several dedis to make sure everyone can join as quickly as possible.
Although my KF dedi adventures took an arrow in the knee, I however have unlimited bandwidth and TBs of space to spare. If anyone wants to configure a download server for their KF dedis you can use this http://www.goodmods.com/Killing-Floor/ Note that I just dumped my files there so its probably missing the files you need like maps and other mod files which needs to be placed directly in this folder. I can add them in if you can list them for me. I probably already have those files or can get my buddies to upload for us.
Currently I am using Cloudflare CDN since there isnt anyone using it as downloads in their game server. I can however convert it to premium CDN with a click if I get even 2-3 Dedi hosts and the right files in. Most of my stuff has been around for years so its not disappearing tomorrow.
Please let me know if you're interested to get these free resources. I need nothing in return.
P.S. If there are other verified sources of mod/game files you need for direct download please let me know. I am quite ok to add them even if I dont play those games. Some mod sites and modders are a bit PITA about hosting their mods/maps so please note of that. I would avoid those files.
