There is a reason the Army adopted this shape when developing the new Kevlar helmets -- it WORKS. The Germans actually copied the basic design from medieval open faced knightly helmet (the "Sallet") worn during the 15th-16th Centuries. Our previous helmet design was better than the old British "Tommy," but didn't deflect shrapnel or blows outward very well, leaving you vulnerable in the neck/shoulders/etc.

What? I don't understand how anything i said questioned the effectiveness of the German helmets?

What's wrong with that video?

I thought it was just as good as the new age groups definition of the game in whole... as in this video..

Red Orchestra 2 Heroes of Stalingrad - YouTube

TWI concentrating on the group with the longest attention span obviously.. can your attention last the full 9 minutes?

I didn't realize this until you pointed this out. I was sucked into by the superiority claims of the Germans.
Well I guess women don't pay attention to the details.
I sure can't identify the lipstick cases of different brands.

People are so hateful for nothing theses days... If you are a kid mocking another kid trying his new game you are dumb, If you are an adult mocking a kid trying his new game you are retarded.

You should be a veteran and understand all the game mechanics before opening the game? He is just a kid and want to have some fun, at least he already knows this is just a game like RO2 and RO1 are.

Typical "pseudo" simulation community ^^

I would gladly play in communities filled with clueless kids all day if I could only get rid of elitist and arrogant people like you guys.

The only thing this Youtuber did wrong is being at an age deemed unworthy by you people.

Well I'm not trying to be "Elitist" or arrogant with my previous post... I just don't get why he bothered with video taping all of this and uploading this on YouTube for all to see.

He didn't really help with anything and basically just stated the obvious, which anybody and their dog could do by walking into a retail store, picking up the game and looking at it with their own eyes.

For me, the kid's age has nothing to do with it, and nobody here was really making fun of his age..... so don't try and play the age card.

Some made fun of his accent and some people made fun of what he was saying. He could have been 4 years old or 72.... people would have still made fun of him for what he was saying and his quality "Review"

And that vertical video resolution? What's up wit dat?

Added:

Sorry, but if you decide to make a review of something and put it on the internet for all to see, you best be prepared for people to either not like your review or not agree with you..... just because this person is a young kid, that doesn't excuse him from criticism.

As mentioned before, I don't care about his age, his accent / how he sounds, etc.... I just think his video was a waste of time and didn't really help anybody with anything towards knowing what RO2 is.

Yes, it's interesting to see the perspective of a new player to RO2, and the perspective of someone at that age, but this video basically equates to me making a video of me holding a can of 7up and talking about the green on the can, the list of ingredients, the way the can opens..... yet never get far enough to actually drink some of the 7up to tell you what it's actually like.

Judging a Book by its Cover, so to speak...... and in regards to this video, that's quite literal.

Nothing wrong with that youtube video...

Perhaps a bit obvious, but I got the game from steam... so I can say the boxart is really nice and has a nice presentation. Wouldn't have known if it wasen't for the "clueless kid" (not a nice label btw)

Sure there is some sillyness about the Ninja german with MKB42 + bayo and scope... but it's got good marketing value

You want RO2 to get better, it has to sell and keep selling. The boxart does a good job at it.

As for the kid, I just hope he enjoys his game.

Maybe in 2 years, with practice, he will do some kickass youtube videos.

Who knows ?

Agreed

So tired of everyone uploading videos and trying to get a fanbase/go viral over meaningless ****.

"Hey guys, just purchased a pack of spearmint gum, thought I'd share on youtube. I'll have my next video up tomorrow when I go to the laundromat"

Just more examples of how our western society is self centered (see all social media).

Well, Peggy (USA Prime Credit, just noticed it)
I do agree. It started with MySpace, then came blogging, facebook and worst of all, Twitter.
I feel idiotic everytime I post something on the facebook. I don't think I'll ever use it again.
