the reason i say this is because on my Core i5 @ 3.6/GTX260 SLi machine i can run all the settings on "ultra" except for shadows, but if i turn shadows down just one notch to "high" i can maintain a constant 60 fps vsynced, other wise the fps tank hard.
so i figured with my main rig that has a Core i5 @ 4.2 and GTX460 SOC 1GB SLi i should be able to take the shadows up to "ultra" but the fps tank on this machine also untill i drop the shadows down to "high".
Dev's what do you think?
rig 1:
core i5 750 @ 3.6, GTX 260 SLi, 4GB ram, win7x64, 270.61 WHQL
rig2:
Core 15 760 @ 4.2, GTX460 SOC 1GB SLi, 4GB ram, win7x64, 280.26 WHQL
