Two things needed for sticky here...

First , thanks for all of the features and options available to an administrator within this game. Its really what is going to make or break it imho.

Having said that what would really be useful stickied to the top of this forum is;

A- A complete and intuitive guide to using the web admin functions and features. I've looked, and there is non here. It would be handy and should be considered a "must have" for the forum. It would save probably half of the questions asked here , and would make it a ton easier for all of us who have taken on this responsibility.

B- A complete guide to using the config files. Pretty self explanatory. Ive looked and there is none here. There are many of us who haven't done this in a long time ,and on a different file system, and many new servers being set up. This could only serve better to give the playerbase a much broader scope of game types and styles to choose from making it more attractive.


I'm not completely sure if all of the UT3 stuff transfers over , and have been learning through trial and error (thus this post) , but I believe these would be helpful.

And it can't be TOO simple (meaning take the John Wooden approach, "Boys, this is a basketball..."). After several hours of searching, reading, experimenting, etc. I still haven't figured out how to even log in to and use the web admin tool. Most threads with WebAdmin tool questions/answers start at a point beyond my ZERO KNOWLEDGE base --- they ALL assume that we already have access to the web admin tool.

Thanks if one of you vets could help with this and other "Kindergarten level" instructions...

Exactly! I know it's early in the beta, but for us server admins this info is invaluable for giving players the best experience to ENJOY the beta.
