Who from TW designed the tactical view so usless for the TL to find the damn radio.I barelly play as TL I died 5 times trying to find the damn radio and still couldnt, tactical view for showing you the direction of the radio is usless.

How can you make the damn radios so hard to find? point is to call in airstrike and be able to find the radio without problem, not running around and getting killed. You masked the radios to look like a normal box on the map I cant ditinguish if its radio or ammo crate or just a random box.

this was on map Station,I had much more luck finding one on Spartanovka, its exactly why I'm discouraged to play as team leader and only played 2-3 times as one.

The more I play the more flaws I find,I dont ask for them to paint it red,but man dont mask it so people go crazy trying to find it,by the time you find it either you get killed or wave has moved to another location and ur arty is usless.

I never have any issues myself when it comes to finding the radio.... I either look on my map to see where it is compared to where I am, or I bring up my tactical display, which shows you exactly where it is and how many meters away it is.

It baffles me how some find it so difficult to find a radio on the map.

*shrugs*

The more I play Commander and the more I play each map as a commander, the more I am used to knowing where the radios are, when I need to go to a specific one and which way I should head in order to not get shot...... it's another one of those things in the game that requires practice and time to get used to.

Press M to bring up map look at radio icon go toward radio Icon if still can't see radio press T to see radio icon

How dare TWI make it sooo damn hard. The flaw in this case isnt the game.

There are stukas and sturmoviks in this game?

Yeah I want to know more about these "airstrikes"

Seriously, the radios are easy to find using the tactical view. If you're having trouble finding them you need to slow down and learn the maps. That usually indicates that you should spend more time as a rifleman and get to know the lay of the land.

Are you sure you werent playing a squad leader? Because only commander has the radio positions marked on the map or tactical view

I know what you mean, dude. The one time I attempted to play Commander in Pavlov's House, I ran around for bloody five or six minutes following the map towards the radio. The map put the radio icon in the middle of a staircase, so I had to search up and down the stairs and into the adjoining rooms trying to locate this damn radio, because the map and tactical view sure as hell don't tell you if you're above or below it.

The radio is not hard to find. If you are the Team Leader/Commander, just look on map, go towards that and press your tactical view. The radiow shows up on your screen with a BIG radio icon with exactly how many metres away it is. And they never move.
Learn your radio positions after you play TL on each map a few times and you don't even need the map or tactical view.
Just play a bit more before worrying about it.

And to the guy above, yes it does show if you are above or below it. If you are within 20 metres for example and you are looking UP, you are below it. If you have to look down through floor to see position, you are above it. It cannot be more simple.

It's hard to find the radios on station in the buildings, because they're on the upper floors. You can't tell what story they're on with the Map. If you use Tactical View, you need to look up when you're in their vicinity.

That said, the radios look completely different from the ammo dumps on the map.

I don't think I have any issues with finding the radios. Finding the resupply points on some maps however...
