Tripwire Testing Phase 2 maps today in Public

Tripwire would like to welcome the public as it tests phase 2 map entries today on Tripwire Dev's - Map Contest Phase 2 Maps (Fast Redirect) at 63.111.111.82:7757. We encourage anybody who wishes to do so to join us between 4 and 6 PM EST time. There is no need to go out and search for the maps as dev server 1 is using a very fast redirect (this will also keep conflicts from different versions happening as many of the entries have newer version released post contest deadline).

So come one and come all to help us see these maps in action!

The download is not working for me on the Leningrad map. It's taking like 15 seconds to go up .1%

And no my bandwith is not being plundered by anything else. That I know of <_<

Wow I am being forced to download a bunch of extra things that are not going at a fast speed....and I doubt I'll get into the server becasue of it.

Even though the redirect is fast it seems to be under load now.

the .ROM downloads fast, everything else is incredibly slow. (Even bigger files)

the extended wait would not be so bad if the server admin didn't keep changing the map 2 minutes after I finally get on.

I waited 15-20 minutes to get into the server when it was hosting Leningrad, only to have the map change right when I picked my team.

Hmm, perhaps you guys could post a zipped up file of all the Phase II maps in this thread so people wouldn't have to use the redirect? Or you could hijack/ask an existing RO community server to help the testing.

Was fun, but my connection yesterday evening was playing up and I was getting packet loss so I didnt stay for long

I was there, parizerplatz was really fun (Sasquatch = T34 wh0re). I also enjoyed playing on my map (Tcherkassy) with you all. Too bad many packet loss made me disconnect 3 or 4 times.
