KF Top ten killing floor players

is there a list of, say, the top ten kf players anywhere? obviously such a list would be contested by many, but i think anyone who has played kf for the last two years or so knows those people. ten of the best in no particular order. why? i want to see if most have youtube videos and maybe learn something whilst watching some. i make this thread now because i just had a game where deepblue888 came in and that -his name- reminded me he has a YT channel. after the game i went there to see what he may have uploaded, but sadly nothing in over a year. i already watched all his videos back then. i need more pro players who have YT videos.

if you have direct YT links would be even better, though if there they use a different or "1337" name, note here who the steam player name is. i'll start the list with some that i remember and acknowledge are very good players.

in no particular order: actually let's make it alphabetical. that's fair. yes, very.

Personally you wont ever find the top 10. I personally am very skilled at this game but I refuse to show myself to everyone. Many others are the same. Personally, i'd ask for who is known to be good, not the best and try learn from watching them.

ah, i think i made it pretty clear. i even gave two examples. are you FluX familiar with those two? if you claim to be good, then you must acknowledge those two. anyone who plays kf for a while and on hoe knows OF those two players. there are more and i should know 3-4 more but i just can't think of their names. ergo this request. maybe you don't agree with the wording, but i just want people to namedrop some such players, because via a team effort, we should reach a consensus. so it's not those people coming here and boasting or saying "me me", rather the "community" is naming them.

do you know any exceptional player YT videos? (720p/+ prefered) for example i remember finding a russian player YT video once (can't find it now) who loved the SLR and made some really good videos. and i think an asian zerker who did a video (or more) with him using katana on mountainpass/HOW.

so basically i just need name reminding of the top players and then that way i should find some more yt videos.

Like I said, you're not going to get the best/top players. People wont show themselves and that also means they are not known by the community.

If you're looking for footage of experienced players to learn something from, that's probably something people can help you with.

In my opinion, there is no way to compare people who never put themselfes out to those who like to upload their games and share it publicly. Also, it's really pointless. Someone can be exceptional "pro" in doing combos or solo play, however in a 6-man game, the same person can wipe the whole team because he/she is not a teamplayer (and the other way around ofc).

Also, since there is no real "measurement" to judge who's pro and who's not, creating such a list would probably be highly dependent on personal preference.

why are you resisting this? i just f*ing named TWO such players who are considered exceptional players, because they are. i should remember several more but atm i can't. that's what i am trying to get help with here - from other long time kf players who have better memories. don't act dense. i don't expect anyone to report themselves. anyone who has played HOE kf over the last two years would agree when they see some names, as yes, wow, that player is ace. that's what i am talking about. general consensus from other players. again, i just named two i remembered. there are several more.


pre-post realization. just before i will make the above post, i just remembered that i do have a way (i think iirc) to maybe remind myself of another player. i should be able to go to a user whom i know was friends with some such players. i think if i see the friends he has i will recognize the names if not changed. so when you see this post it will have the results.

oh, and i am sure somebody knows of that american player who does have YT videos. he's very good. i remember watching one where he plays santa's workshop (HOE obviously) and talks throughout it, giving tips and talking how he loves to change his loadout and he loves the magnum and desert eagle for their penetration capabilities. (he played as zerker) he also wishes someone entered the game to play with him but nobody does. well someone did eventually, but left before the next wave. i should have bookmarked his page. though i did lose my bookmarks anyway a while back. someone here will know for sure.

I think any sort of top 10 is silly since it's sort of a superficial number, but I know devante is really rather good. While not on the level of dev, people like ToeKneeAy, Joabyy, Chris, KG, skell and puppy are all very good KFers that I enjoy playing with. (Karsey and Thor are really good too but I don't really play with them so.)

I think TOP10 players can be just copy-pasted from KFG ban list.

But if seriously, KF is co-op game, and it would make more sense to name best teams not individual players.

Ranking isn't going to work but for a list of people who are exceptional solo or in team play I'd have to say the best are (in no particular order):
Devante, SkyWindRushing, Vinc120, Karsey, DarkFalz. I've played with almost all of these people and they're 10/10 in solo and 10/10 in teamplay.

However, I can say with 100% certainty that Wasted is definitely not anywhere up there. Anyone can run around in circles for hours - that doesn't take skill.

After watching you play multiple times (not just in the KFG livestream, which was painful to watch), Flux, I really don't think you're anywhere close to as skillful as the best. Meh overall.

Guys is derailing the thread really a way of sorting out your hate on us? Be respectful and keep it to yourselves. There is a reason why I refuse to post to your replies with good reason.

P.S. What I did in my team's games is not how I would show myself up. It's a team game, not a "I am the best, let's show everyone how to play". Atleast PoosH made a good point about teamplay vs solo.

You came in here talking about how you're good and just don't want to/like to show yourself off. On the other hand, the video evidence we do have of you is very meh and the way in which you form an opinion about cheating also shows you're not as good as you think. It really comes full circle and is indirectly relevant to this discussion because you had to talk about how good you are. We are just looking out for the people looking for tactics and might come across a video you're in. Or, they might see your name, associate it with KFG and watch those FP combos and believe that's how good players play.

Now if you guys can form a line over there to get my autograph, it's $50 thou, that's half of what Stan Lee asks for.

Top 10 KF players sound silly, this is a coop game. If you can beat HoE and yolo the whole thing, then your he best in my book.

They can make nice videos of them beating solo HoE with faked players... but will they heal me back if I heal them, can they work in a team or are they arrogant douches ? Not saying that the examples you cited are like that, but I think the best team players are not all about themselves that much.

Personnally I'd favor good attitude versus a perfect aim anytime.

Yes one thing to keep in mind as Flux mentioned is that really good players don't necessarily record themselves playing and may not be involved in tournaments and the like so we would never really know.
