To dither or not to dither

that is the question.

In the rebuilding options there is a checkbox for "dither". Do you guys check it or not? Does anybody have comparison screenshots or a tutorial that mentions that setting?

Ok, I tried it and made comparison shots for others who have the same question. This pic here was taken after rebuilding with dither ON:

I see no difference.

Does anybody have more info on this?

Welp.. easy..
When you build the lighting, the engine actually generates, effectively, textures that are the light maps for your BSP and such.

The Dither flag sets if the generated lightmaps should be dithered or not.

As far as it's actual implementation in how it shows up in game.. tbh, no idea. I'd guess you'd need a larger/more-complex scene to demostrate honestly.
