Please, please say sorry when TKing...I really don't mind being TK'd as on the realism servers its going to happen and people make mistakes. Whenever I'm TK'd if the person says sorry I reply with a "no worries its war"....however when they don't even say sorry it really does pee me off. I end up fuming.

It's happened a couple of times recently (one even had a clan tag) and it doesn't take much to type sorry. So show some manners and apologise.

I feel if anyone is TK'd by someone and they don't say sorry and they have a clan tag then it should be standard procedure to report them to their clan as it gives a bad impression of said clan.

The "sorry"/"np" routine was pretty standard in RO1. The fact that there is no confirmation whether "np" actually works here has been detrimental to making players stop using this in RO2. (I even find myself not bothering writing "np" because I know I have to type it 3 times if I want the other player to be aware I forgave him).

I almost always apologize, but the real issue for me is the person responding with: "you're an effing idiot."

The other day i shot a friendly, and said sorry....he said.."why did you shot me couldnt you see i was running towards the enemy"

I said" i thought you where running away" It was funny. but you probablyhad to be there.

But what was interesting was it was on spartnovka and in the light he looked like a russian retreating....

And then a few minute later i was looking at a couple of russians and i swaer they looked like germans and i did not shoot..... they inturn killed me.

Some of the lighting from light to shadows can really make the color of the uniforms look like enemy.... The captain is the worst....cause both wear caps.

Most of my TKs happen when someone gets directly in line of fire with my target.

That tends to halt any *****ing right there...when the TK notice is directly before the enemy kill notice.

I apologize when I'm really at fault. If someone runs in front of me when I'm prone MG and firing, I don't see any real need there. I've had someone run into my bayonet when I was trying the melee attack before. They literally said "Really?" too me. Kind of ridiculous, that.

Yep, it was routine in RO1. I hope it will be the same in RO2 soon. I always say "Sorry!" if I teamkill someone. And I also always say "np ;)" when someone teamkills me and says "sorry" then. It really doesn't take that much time.
Happens really really often to me that people don't say "sorry".

Btw a small note to TW: Could you make that if you write "np" it also shows it in the chat? Because atm you always have to write "np" two times if you want that the teamkiller sees it.

I only forgive a TK if i run in too line of fire and get killed, I almost always get TKd when i play aggresiv, ive noticed im very good at getting to the objective very fast and i pretty much is always first on scene and very often you have to hide/wait so you can stay undercover and its then i almost always get TKd

if that makes me an a** im a big a**:D

I take pride in hardly ever Tking a guy but when I do I always say I'm sorry. And when I get tked all they have to do is say the magic word for me to give them a np .......Unless its maybe a bayo tk in our spawn

The only time I give a np when they don't say the magic word is when its obviously my fault like me running in front of them or I'm tired and not paying attention and run into friendly arty (both is my stupid mistake)

In those cases I also apologies to them with "sorry mate, my fault" after I gave a np.

I feel if someone runs in front of your fire or onto your grenade you should still say sorry and I expect them to say "don't worry my fault"...it's just manners and people make mistakes.

So in a real war you think if one of your men ran infront of your fire and was hit you'd go ahh sod him it was his fault...

To me it's rather petty not saying sorry just becuase they ran in front of your fire...

Maybe it's an age thing.

What about TKing to remove a noob blocking a door you need to get out of to avoid a grenade death?

I have done it without blinking - especially if it saves a few other team mates.

Most of the time they don't even mind once you explain why you had to do it.

mostly people run into my line of fire...5/4 times I TK is due to people running into my line of fire...which I don't really want to say anything, cause it's not my fault nor his, it's just we were not aware of the situation..

And I don't mind being TKed even if they didn't say anything, it's not a big deal really i don't lose anything..only thing I hate is when some of my teammates are in base shooting at spawned people (not TKing, but shooting stuff all around us), that is VERY annoying...

This.

Was in a game on Comissars House yesterday, firing at house 81 with a LMG (Russian side). For a good 2 mins Iwas prone watching and snap shooting at heads in windows. Theres a friendly stood right next to me for about 60 seconds, he then steps out while i was firing and gets hit in the leg. I say sorry... he bandages then shoots me in the head. Wtf?
