Alright, so I found a couple of threads on here, and they helped a little bit, but I want to know what 5 weapons I should drop for the achievement. I got mixed reviews on the tiers, and I would like to know what weapons you guys dropped for it, so I know what to do.
Tier 2 weapons?

I have picked up and dropped LAW, LAR, mac10, billup, shotgun, grenade launcher, katana, ak47 but no luck so far. I assumed that tier2 weapons are all ones that can be switched to by using switchweapon 5.... maybe i am wrong.
I know the handcannon and the AK-47 are tier 2. I think it's a fireaxe and Hunting shotgun. Try those. As for the last one, maybe Pipebombs?

you cant actually drop pipebombs only plant them but I assume that counts same as dropping them.

I did it on beginner with the:
Hunting Shotgun
AK-47
Flamethrower
Hand cannon
Axe
I suggest just finding a weapon on the ground and using it the entire game, which allows you to save LOADSAMONEY and then buy 2 at a time on an intermission and drop them.
Like, buy Axe and flamethrower. Drop them. Buy handcannon and shotgun. Drop them. Buy AK-47. Drop it.
Profit?

I wasn't sure which of the melee weapons (if any) were considered tier 2 so I just bought a few hunting shotguns and an AK and something else. Apparently they don't have to be 'different' weapons as the achievement description suggests.
Not saying it's not true, but that is just weird. M32 is deffo tier 3 in my eyes, and Handcannon is only tier 1 imo
Oh well...
I thought it had to be different weapons, if I would have known that it could be the same one, than that would have saved me the trouble of trying to figure out which is considered tier 2 or 3.
just went and bought a bunch of random stuff and dropped it and eventually got the achievement
The medic gun works too. It's 90 each so I'm pretty sure you will be able to get that in wave 2. Also, Handcannon and duel Handcannon counts as two different weapon it seems. I only had to get 3-4 Handcannon and was able to unlock the the achievement.
