yes just because it would be nice to have the option. it would not happen often because you can cook your nades. but it would be interesting if your trapped in small room or bunker and a nade flies in and you toss it back killing your would be killers!!!

It might be quicker to kick a grenade away then to pick it up and throw it.

Yes - but I think you should punt/slap the nade away.
You click "use" and it gets flicked a short lob away like you kicked it clear, in the direction your facing.

You're not picking it up and throwing it back - only Clint Eastwood does that in Where Eagles Dare and you guys just aren't that awesome...

What would be good (and easy to implement) is being able to lie on a newly delivered nade and limit the damage it does - maybe saving your comrades lives who would normally be cleaned up.

Again - this all needs to done with an element of sensibleness...

In dod, back years ago, i killed a yankee with his own nade. I was a german soldier, really far awesome ;)

I think throwing back grenades should be implemented. Its humanly possible to do so, why not? Its up to the player's own discretion if he wants to risk the extra half-second it takes to pick up the live grenade, or to retreat. Other opinions?

Time to pick up it (fuse time is lower because grenade traveled through air to you), aim it, and throw it somewhere is longer than fuse of grenade.

Throwing back grenade is not usable against stick grenade, as german I always wait little time before I throw it to enemy (enemy cant run away due to lack of time), so grenade explode in air sometimes or with 0,5 sec. delay on ground. Every skilled player do it.

I think that Tripwire never implement it. Best way how to throw it back is catching one in air, but you hold your weapon and also grenade is not soft ball.

Grenade as design is weapon to kill your enemy, fuse time is managed to prevent throwing it back by 99%.

So? He's right. A good punt might just send it far enough so that it does you no harm. Or not.

What are you talking about? You're in Stalingrad at a time of war ffs not on a football field. You can't just kick stuff around. The ground is anything but flat and solid; Not to mention all the debris, wreckage and the potential snow.

Ehm hello? You want to tell me that you never had the situation either fighting as a German or Russian that an enemy grenade is landing right of your face, so darn close you can read the description on it. And now you tell me that you will sit and wait for the ****ing thing to explode? Man this ain't real, ya must be joking! Of course you will do anything to get the egg away from you, if this is also "back to sender" even better. But I yet hated it in the mod that you're trapped as standing up and running away takes much longer than simply pick it up and throw it away.

I am not here to tell you that its impossible to do that, I posted only my feeling about that, because I know that its waste of time to fighting against it (tripwire).

So feel free to continue, I dont tell you nothing. ;)

THINK!

It's a better option then bending down to pick it up, by which time you will A: be dead or B: the grenade will malfunction and not explode. Also, so what if the ground isn't flat and even? When you kick something, you can quite easily angle it upwards; it takes close to no effort. That's like saying "Oh, but you can't pick up a ball and throw it because there are buildings and other things around, and there's no way you could just lob it into the next room or out a window, or just to the other side of the room! THINK!"
