I certainly did not expect much, but I expected it to do at least better than Killing Floor, which does not fit in that category you mentioned.

tbh, i think a lot of ppl omit it because it isn't released, phaps they see it in terms of games that are available.
And dont forget that ppl may have adjusted thier wishlists due to the recent prize draw of winning 10 of them - presuming that it would apply to products that are available.

You have to remember that these were the winners of the contest and the contest only awarded you your top 10 games. Many may have been unclear about the rules and thought that it only applied to already released games, therefore moving RO2 to say the 11th spot.
I'm sorry but explanations like this fall in the same category as "The moon was on a special axis with the sun, mars and venus, building a triangle with Proxima Centauri, affecting the way people were putting HoS on their wishlists". It is how it is, without statistics as to the exact details of the winners and the exact composition of their full wishlists it's completely pointless to argue about it.
RO2 is the only game on my steam wishlist, so there is defiantly some thing not right about that list,
Of course you come to the conclusion that, because HoS the only game on your wishlist, a list entirely compromised of people who won at a lottery and all had a minimum of 10 games on their wishlist, is obviously flawed.

I think it mostly has to do with people not updating their wishlist. Like mentioned prior, I've only added things to my wishlist ONCE and that was because I had a chance to win some of it or something (I forget the giveaway)
Secondly, some people who claim its because the game hasn't released, it's unfortunately wrong. I see several titles on that list that aren't released yet.
I really do like the fact that this game has a smaller crowd. But I just wish it would give TW more money. They seriously deserve a huge budget.

Hear hear. Three of my games on my list aren't released yet.
Yet I've heard nothing but great things about this game from people who played the leak.
For some reason Im happy with these stats. I dont want to see the cod kids coming to RO2. Ill be happy to play with RO1 veterans rather than playing with kids who whine about why the gun is moving up while fireing and stuff..
I feel worse for the people that put DA2 on their list.
Even free, I'd have buyers remorse over that garbage.
