This Hitler chap could be as much trouble as Bismarck.

I was helping a friend of mine go through some old magic tricks that were wrapped up in newspaper and came across this lovely article from the 30's!
I thought you'd enjoy.

And the funniest bit is that there is no point in this article at all (I'm not criticising the post, it's certainly a curious find). So they retouched a couple of portraits of famous people, decided that they look alike and then... something. When I started reading the article, I sort of expected at least a little bit of boche-bashing. But no. :)

I bet today this article would have a title like

'5 Ways Which Hitler Mind-Blowingly Looks Like Bismarck in.'

With the shopped pictures stolen from other sources without any references.

Reading the text should tell you something about the non smoking, vegetarian, antialcoholic Zeitgeist which is propagated nowadays.

Hitler was a fanatic who finally almost ruined the unified german national state, which Bismarck, - albeit to the great dismay of the other european powers -, managed to built in the second half of the 19th century.

What is the "trouble" you are talking about? ;)

(I don't think Hitler was a vegan, but I have an issue with those who will never have a drink or are overly "sober")

Balance is key to anyone.

I dated an vegan girl... just once...
To this day I should fear salad forks because her eyes told me it could go straight in my eyeball...

Just because I said meat is delicious, and I argued balance. I have never felt portrayed as such an awful inhuman person.

I wont generalize, but some of these people are totally insane. I agree the corporate farming industry is sick, that meat consumption is generally way to high but holy cow are some people a special kind of extremist.

BTW, nice find.

It sounds like she needs an admiring firm of sausage manufacturers to send her eighty yards of German sausage!
