I'm still stuck on the fact that he DIE. ON. BEGINNER.

I'm no 'God' at this game, but I can regularly solo the Patriarch on Beginner!

You can actually do that on Medium too, he is like FP on hard servers with around 4 people playing.
But yea... dying on... beginner... it's... like...uhm...drowning in a spoon.

It would be naive to think it doesn't/won't happen. As much as they'd like to deny it, their actions alone make a compelling argument. If it wasn't for people supporting indie/any titles like Killing Floor there'd be much less encouragement to develop and certainly less incentive to continue to support them.

Filesharing can be argued as fair use.

All you can hope for is that he'll eventually break down and buy the game, otherwise he'll grow tired of his unsupported copy of Killing Floor.

I'm happy to see that Tripwire seems to release patches on a weekly level. I hope they get rid of all the bugs soon and start adding new weapons/content.

in the opening he says that there are some custom maps that are on his server, makes me wanna join and "borrow" these maps to spread to the public, fight piracy of TW with piracy of his content

And you actually think he created THOSE maps instead of stole them from the community? Seriously...

i dont see you coming up with any ideas to fight back
By not caring and enjoying your own legal copy of KF? If he can't be bothered spending $20 to get support and a much larger pool of potential teammates, it's his own loss.

We know he's got no love life, 85% of hackers (or at least the ones I've heard of and/or know) tend to fit the "know all about computers and that's it" scenario.

Generalizations are bad.

I support piracy when its fair, for example when the game is overpriced or for testing purposes if you can't decide if you want to buy it or not.

but come on, a great game that came out for only 13€, there is NO EXCUSE for playing a pirated copy of this. Every time I talk to people about KF and they say as an automatic answer: sounds interesting, I'll probably download it (and they don't really mean Steam download) makes me want to pop their heads with a handcannon

Agreed. Some time back I pirated a certain game pack, and a while later it was on Steam for €10, so I bought it. I don't see the point in pirating something when you can legally own it for such a reasonable price.

In many countries you can't buy stuff online (Steam) and pirating is the only way.
