Yes, but only since the 1.1 patch came out, they completely broke LOD scaling and for me it seems directly tied to this. As in version 1.0 I had LOD set to the highest setting 'Far', I never had pop in and the game ran beautiful and smooth. Now post 1.1 update the LOD scaling seems to be stuck on the lowest setting, as in I have pop in all the damn time and this is when the micro stuttering happens, as stuff pops in. I've tried adjusting it to far again in the options menu which has no effect, I've also tried forcing it in the config file and it has no effect there either. I'm far from the only person with this problem either, I hope it is fixed in the next patch.Anybody else getting micro-stuttering?
Spoiler!Anyone else have any trouble fighting Letho in chapter 1? He was a complete bastard for me at first, I was trying to use Quen and fight defensively but he'd always end up owning me. However I found a tactic that works great.
I ended up getting real aggro and just all out attacking him, I started off hitting him with an Aard as soon as the battle started. Then I leapt in with a light strike followed by a heavy strike. After that he snaps out of it and takes a swing so I rolled backwards and repeated this sequence again, Aard-light strike-heavy strike. After that I was out of vigor so I rolled back and just spammed him with bombs, I had about 5 or 6 grapeshot, as each one hits him he stumbles and just stays pinned. By the time they were done my vigor was right back up and I repeated the Aard-light strike-heavy strike sequence twice more and that was it. I took him out without taking a hit as I had him almost permanently stumbled.
Spoiler! He was a challenge, but it was just about finding the right strategy, getting caught by his combos usually makes you bleed almost all your health away, and getting caught by his igni has a similar effect.
I found a good strategy of bombs or knives, then aard to make him stumble and a nice combo before putting distance between us again whilst he used his bombs and signs again.
Spoiler!I dunno about knives, I've given them a go but honestly I find bombs a lot more useful. Especially given they are cheap to produce and effective against both single enemies and mobs. I try to carry at least 10 samum, 10 grapeshot, and 10 dancing star at all times. Dragon's dream are ok but I find them too much of a pain to use against fast enemies, I'd rather just hurl a dancing star or two to set people on fire than screw around with creating a cloud of gas and igniting it.
Also did you lose your steel sword after fighting Letho? For some reason I did
Spoiler! It was on the floor in the chamber, he took it off you during the cutscene - I had a little look around and it was there.
I'd have been damn pissed to lose it, nice cutlass as it was!
Yeah those are the bombs I used too, Dancing Star was awesome for setting alight masses of Nekkers. I ended up with loads of daggers so I gave them a go, bombs are far better.

Haha that's priceless.I never noticed anything, but according to forums there was apparently some kind of prayer rug in one of the brothels.
