There was admin all through the night and you were even warned on the server for argueing about politics.
A good admin is one that only steps in when it is absolutely nessacary
MCP1 & MCP2 will be available for testing as from 1300 GMT today.

Unfortunately even Admins need to sleep at some time.
Most people don't need to be admined. They just go on to enjoy the game. It's the few rotten apples in the cart that spoil it.!!

I have an above average system and the 50 player server runs great for me. Too bad the test server is in Europe, so I get pings in the 180's, but no real lag to speak of. I even got to bayonet a TWI guy a couple nights ago, of course that was after Ramm killed me like 4 times in a row and pilfered my STG44.
Isn't there any big iron in the states to run a 50+ test server on this side of the pond?

I promise that if I win the lottery, I'll buy a bunch of top-of-the-line servers and dedicate them to RO. If I run a server on one of the new Apple PowerMacs with 8 cores and 16Gb of RAM, could I get the player count up to 200? Only for maps like Lyes Krovy and Danzig, though--Berezina would have to be limited to 10 players max.
Also, the total I win in the lottery would have to be over $300 million, 'cause I'm spending the rest on my tunnel to China.

We need to have kickvoting again... A whole map got ruined because we had a commander that (apparently) didn't speak english and didn't call arty.

After playing on that 50 slots servers, I can't go back and play on the regular 32 slots ones.

I always thought the 32 player slots felt very empty, with 50+ player slots introduced this may bring my interest back to RO. I reckon the devs should stick with RO and leave their next game for 2009. I want newer weapons and vehicles in RO, so please devs make it happen!!!

Played some time ago and have to say: Impressive.
The feeling on BDJ was really wonderful. Tanks everywhere. Much more guys for Team Tanking.
HedgeHog also played a bit different. Not as much as BDJ, but still different. Was kinda impressive to see an assault of a Bren carrier supported by more then 10 soldiers...

First off, it wasn't politics, it was ethics.
2nd, there wasn't an admin on late night US time. There were 2 people cronically tking in spawn, it got so bad about 5 of us decided to kill him everytime he spawned so the other 19 people didnt die from satchels and nades. Then he kept playing music, like the one benny hill chase song, but to be honest I requested that song so he wouldn't play Hitler speeches and racist music. Eventually I got sick of it and left. I figured there would be admins on almost all the time since its constantly full and the Devs have some say in it...I think?
I found Berezina to be an awesome map on a server this size. Really works to give a feeling of scale and making you feel like an insignificant part of something much larger.
