Any suggestion for a game that's really really worth its price?

I'm close to the end and it gets a little bit better in the last third(subway town), but overall it's rather average. Definitely not a must-have game but rather a game that nobody will care about in a year.

Bargain bin it is then.

Thats fine, best game I've played this year.
Well structured, fun and pretty much bug free as far as I'm concerned.

Finished it already and I'm pretty sure I will be playing through it again.

Great game and plays pretty well on smaller configs.
PC version/no console here.

BF3,
I'm having trouble recommending this one, I just can't see how or why the game or at least the MP is so highly rated.
Guess I'll have to find a realism server with DMs off :D.

Take on Helicopters,
if you like flying heli's this is good.
It actually has a storyline and I've killed a few VC's saving my butt back in Nam...(or unnamed fictional equivalent).

Yep, it's got gunsinit
Its a BIS game so the future potential is enormous.

Recommended...

RO2, still.

Took advantage of the Steam sale to pick up a classic and a game I'd been wanting to play for a while.

So it's been Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and Ghostbusters for me. Those and a copy of Legend of Mana for some PS1 retro goodness.

Monster Hunter.

Lots and lots of Monster Hunter.

I just wish they did an English release for Monster Hunter: Frontier Online. :( That's supposedly like, the real deal for the whole series. It's massively popular, too. If only MH games had bigger sales figures in the western world, we'd have it by now. Sadly, Capcom choose to sell the latest game to what seems to be the wrong audience (Wii), no wonder their sales aren't so large over here. With the kind of game it is, I feel that it'd be right at home with the PC audience.

- Renegate Ops (great remake game from amiga)
- Sanctum (got it few days ago for 1 euro, fun mixture of FPS and tower defense game)
- M&B: Warband (looking for some cool mods to play with)
- ArmA 2: Combined Operations + ACE + ACRE + other mods (currently best tactical shooter)
- RO2 (playing clanwars and trainings only for SE, ESL and ROL cups)

Picked up the Wii version for 2,50 euro but still havent touched it.
Seems like a social game, works quite well in Japan but over here im not so sure.

Pokemon Leaf Green - 33 or so hours into the game and I am still not done. I played through Blue/Yellow 4 or so times to. A good $13 spent IMO.

Have not found many PC games I truly want as of late. I'm waiting for a sale for RoF and Wings of Prey. I'll need a new video card before long, and the prices are just not falling.

I'll probably be buying Pokemon Ruby soon. I only wish they could port the game to PC so I can battle others online.

does it have to be new?
enemy engaged apache-havok and/or comanche-hokum are worth full price even today so certainly worth whatever small amount you'd pay for them now.

I suggest this cos you played thou EOC recently - not just cos it's old, but also cos unscripted AI interacts with itself, rather than just reacting to you, which adds to the immersion.
This is my favourite feature of single player games

I love the close combat series - can anyone tell me if faces of war, blitzkrieg or the sudden strike series are worth a go?
I didn't like CoH - i guess i prefer rtt to rts

Blitzkrieg - da, especially the Mission Kursk addon (more realistic than the stock game which is something of a meta-realistic RTT - still fun though).
FoW - nononono, it's a horrid abomination of the original Soldiers (iirc, you already played them - if not, definitely do! :) )
SS - haven't tried, can't say.

Played Fear 3 on a friend's comp - the shooting mechanics struck me as rather fun, not groundbreaking or innovative or anything, just satisfying, especially when paired with the nice ragdolls and death anims.
The psychological horror part of FEAR 1 is nowhere near as prominent though, but I'd say the SP is worth a playthrough for the gun-game alone, plus you get to replay it as Fettel, which is something completely different, from what I hear (can't say though, as I haven't had the time to try).

Edit: Doublepost, oh well, at least the content's different :x

My new card is not in yet, but I still have some fun with MEIOU (EUIII mod).
I am saving my recently purchased Painkiller for later.

Now I am playing Vampires: although I noticed that you have to make a melee character because otherwise you're just so much worse without it.

The big surprise came tuesday. Played the demo of Hegemony; Philip of Macedon because I saw the daily deal (6 euros).
It's actually a very good game:eek:
I normally hate RTS games, but I love the simplicity and the open map. Feels like a mix between Age of Empires and EUIII. Big map of Greece where you expand your empire.

It's 20 euros now after the sale, but there is a demo. I am having a blast with the game:D

SH5, with mods.

By the way, Ubisoft removed DRM completely yesterday, and you can play in complete offline mode. I enjoy it a lot, like I enjoyed SHIII with GWX in the past.

Also playing Cliffs of Dover
