is when at least 3 or more people have got him surrounded in proximity, Hans will quickly release his nerve gas on his feet to wipe everybody around him, probably instantly. This does not apply during the life siphoning sequence. So watch out how many hug him!

Especially watch for the end of his healing time, if two people are syringing the player he's leeching on, he'll fart right after letting go.

The leech victim should be healed from a distance, and to do that, most everyone should have medpistols, and preferably, there'd also be a medic.

It used to in the older patch. I'm not sure, but I'll check if players with very low hp can die by it.

Edit:Nope. Had 5 hp and he didn't do jack.

Depending on difficulty, the victims health will not drop below a certain number of lifepoints. On Suicidal I believe it is 20.

But you can die instantly afterward, if hans farts like OP mentioned.
Or shortly after, if you're hit with gas grenades he intended to throw at other players.
Or about eight seconds afterward, when hans decides you're fair game to aggro after again.

Which is why I brought it up; don't syringe the leech victim, but do dart him.
