Just felt the need to spread the word on this TV series to the fellow KF players. I got up to issue 69 of the graphic novel, so I know this is going to be excellent unless they stray too far from the original story. It's really the only bit of zombie fiction I've ever seen where the characters aren't stereotypes and they don't make insanely stupid horror movie mistakes every few minutes. The author of the graphic novel has stated he doesn't have and end in mind and he's going to keep at it until they don't sell anymore, so it's more or less an endless well-written zombie movie.

Saw the trailer just after ComicCon. Looking forward to it, if they stick to the novels reasonally well then it should be an excellent TV series.

And no, I don't think the music on the trailer is relevant at all

I don't watch TV at all, so I may miss this. I pray to Iosif Stalin II that this series comes out on DVD sometime this year. :IS2:

I'm only on Book Three of the Hardcovers but if the series is the same (character driven) then it could be great. Although Andrew Lincoln's American accent seems strange in places, hopefully it won't be too horrendous. Also the Walker Brothers song is a great choice, emphasising the loneliness and general hopelessness of the situation.

A friend told me this show is being done by the guy who made Shawshank Redemption. Which is a good thing.

I'm actually pretty excited for this, and I don't watch tv besides Mad Men.

hahahaha Klaus, I said that becuase I know many people that hate that movie.. im sorrounded by "hero action movie" fans in my family xD
