lol, the voice acting for the christmas event was only e few very basic lines for a few specimen and they were heavily modified, anyone could have been speaking, but for a female character you would have to actually get a good voice actor and then a near perfect recording to be on par with the game, you also neglect the fact that TWI probably don't want to spend any time/money on something that pointless, sure it's great for female gamers, but there are heaps of games out there that don't have female characters that females still enjoy, seriously, if you aren't going to play the game because the character isn't your gender than you are pretty vain gamer.

so just accept that they aren't going to do it anytime soon, and quite probably never.

I accept its never going to happen, i'm not hung up on it, the point i'm making is that they pour out a load of lies to keep the masses heads ticking over, all they need to say is:

"Look folks, we can't really be botherd spending time and effort on a game thats already out of date to us, its far from earning us money now, we'd rather pull our resources for the next game in our list thats going to bring in daddys wage, thanks for playing, have a good one"

I would respect that statement more than the lie of:

"we can't do it because we'd need to sort out female welding animations and well...none of us are female and for some reason in our world, females are so rare that the chances of getting one to talk into a microphone, let alone actually bend down with a welding torch whilst we modeled her are like winning the lottery"

Actually if i read that statement I'd lol hard, but you get my tokyo drift brother.

Hunter, you win a :IS2:.

:IS2: This tank is so coming to bed with me, Its my new comfort toy!

...its been tested and animation aint a problem.

It's a problem when, it doens't look like a female, not to mention the clipping/model errors I saw. TOTALLY looks worthy enough for a retail game.
(given KF is very lack luster but this is just amateur tier, which TWI isn't)

ok Steven Spielberg..

lol Spielberg, i had to make a film short film once in the german expressionism fashion, and i decided to dub it because thats the way they did it (albeit not by choice) and even after spending every extra minute recording/editing lines for a couple months, i found it was a really long and pointless process of recording, editing, realizing that it isn't good enough quality and doing it again, by the end of it i felt like punching my voice actors every time they spoke because of how many audio files i had to listen too, and this was all with professional equipment and programs in a proper recording studio, people think sound recording is not that hard, but it really is, you need to try and get a professional quality sound to realize that, and without the budget of a ****ing blockbuster, you just can't do it that easily.

Oh wake up and smell the coffee, its nit picking like that that gets people no where in life.

Have you even seen a female? Guess what man, they're not that much different from a male, its kind of in there name.

"Her tits don't jiggle when she runs, she's not fit for TWI's killing floor"

There was no model errors, the clipping your talking which is the welding, comes because she replaces Lewis who is taller than her, big whoop, not exactly a reason to throw female characters out all together is it.

And to finish this off, who made the trader model in the first place? Bumpadabuuuum Tripwire Interactive did, so you've just called Tripwire and their game Killing Floor an amatuer tier game in the overview of things.

Hey Jack, its Hunter here, the guy that brought you the classic hit "Why is there no females in KF".

I'm a freelance Writer/Director/Editor/Producer/Professional annoying douche.

I agree with you, voice overs aren't easy, but they're not as hard as your making them out to be, you claim you had professional equipment and so on, which means its down to your director and editor who are failing in their jobs, actors do what they're told to do, you tell them to go squeeky, the actors go squeeky, it's their job, voice acting is as simple as well talking most of the time, tripwire interactive have more than enough resources to record a female talking, if they don't then they're screwed for all future game releases aint they.

They can do it, they choose not to for reasons of their own..... "moneyz!"

Thank you

there's no doubt they have the resources, it's just that it isn't worth the time/effort.

Actually on the edit here: It is worth the time and effort as it will make some of their fans happy, and even if its just the one fan it still counts, its worth the time and effort to that fan.

So let me re-phrase that, its not worth the time, effort and money to TWI for whatever reason.

That's a silly comment. In the long run, TWI has to make a profit to continue to run as a company.

While it may be that they really don't want to release the skins for the reason Yoshiro posted, if I to guess it probably has more to do with working on other actual game content, if they figure the few extra sales and fan loyalty are worth it.

Either that or they believe that there are fans who will complain that they aren't releasing a certain number of female skins, either free or DLC, and are somehow being sexist. Then they may risk losing fans even though they already spent time and money for female skins.

While that may be hyperbole, these types of issues tend to be ones that companies want to stay away from since consumers can be very irrational.
