Hi everyone,

I had this issue since the first time I played but only recently I started putting things all together: the game runs slower on my PC.

Let me clarify: let's take the in-game clock, the one that tells you how long you've been playing when you press TAB, at the beginning of the match my friends and I are all syncronized. By the 6th horde there's a discrepancy of almost 2 minutes and by the end of a long game there's as much as 4 minutes difference between my time and theirs.

Than there's the in game movements: I run slower than the others. It doesn't matter what I am carrying, I'm always slower: as a lvl 6 medic with just the medgun I run as fast as a lvl 6 support specialist with 2 shotguns (both with knife in hand).
And in case of the same loadout on the same class, my character gets left behind by the others.

There's also another thing that makes me think the two problems above are connected: when I host a game the other players get stuck for 1 second every 15/20 seconds. They can't move: they're connected and they have no lag, they just can't move. My guess is that their clocks are waiting for my one to get syncronized with them (and before you ask: I opened all the required ports on my router and my connection is really good, in fact I usually host our other games).

So, am I on to something or am I completely off?

I add 2 images to show you the discrepancy in time: these have been taken after a long run in hard mode.

Hmm, looks like your system should not have an issue. Do all your games play slowly? Do you have any app running that is maxing out your processor? Maybe you have verticle sync turned on, if so turn it off and see if this helps.

I remember hearing about time issues when you over clock so when my cpu is over clocked the timing in game is off. If you bring up the console in game and use 'stat fps' it will be all jumpy and show incorrect looking values. Ie, the current fps will be insanely large while the avg fps is very low. Having the cpu overclocked didnt seem to negatively affect game play for me though. So you might take a look at your in game fps to see what it shows.

I tried disabling Vsync but nothing changed and for what concerns the overclock, my CPU is not overclocked.

Is that a quad core?
Only thing I can think about is to start the game, open Task manger, right click the KillingFloor process , choose 'set affinity' and untick all the cores except one and Ok it.

Or you could try deleting your system folder and redownloading it from steam, usually fixes alot of bugs.
