The entire dev team is working on RO 2. However Dayle and I will be working in our spare time to bring further balance updates out. There will be more information on this in the near future. I am also hoping to promote more community content that can be added as stock content, but this is still in the talk about it phase.
Time to get a member that only views the forum, and handles staying in touch with the community

I was just pointing that out so nobody got their hopes up too high for the next update as many seem to have for this one.Before this begins some sort of flame war about what was or wasn't said, let me point out that Zips is correct, we are only making a balance fix at present. But I believe that bswearer's point is that he hopes the next update, not referring to the update Yoshiro and I are working on, will be much bigger and better than the update that was just released.
You're reading what Yosh and them said entirely wrong if you believe there are "big" things still in the current pipeline for KF.
Right now, as noted in another thread, Xienen is taking suggestions for quick balance fixes. That's about it.
He has other weapons as well he's made that I am trying to work out of him but that is a different story![]()
Now back to community made items. This is something I would really like to support going forward with the Tripwire team having the majority of their time occupied on RO 2. To that end, if anybody creates a weapon or character or zed that is up to the quality of the stock game, we would gladly introduce it as stock content.
We are also thinking of ways to promote the creation of said content, but do not have anything to say on this yet.
I like this thread, because there are so many voices in this forum with negative critique.
I want to espacially point out positive things of the patch.
1.) Great to see the game still supported after this long time.
2.) Some love to the firebug finally
3.) Mags reduction to the M14 -> I hope it solves to problem of spamming like hell
4.) LAW buff -> have to test it on full suicidal server
5.) SCAR nerf -> I also have to test the impact of this. Maybe it helps encourage
teamplay, because you can not engage the bigger zeds as easily
now and have to rely on Supporters or Sharpies.
Fact is it was much to easy to kill everything except FPs with this
weapon. Even Scrakes are no threat with a tiny bit of help.
6.) New money system
I know the game is not perfect and there is still work to do, but TWI definetly goes in the right direction IMO. I hope for some quick fixes to balance the game even more and make it even more interesting.
