Me to. Funny enough, I hate most of the soup my mom makes but love preety much all the soup made in my uni's cafeteria.
Nope - the US government would use DNS lockdowns at the request of friendly corporations (presumably contributors to the ruling party's coffers), if my understanding is correct - that would affect all users that did not know the IP.

Here is a list of companies that support SOPA - do your best to boycott them. Do not do business with them. Call them up and tell them how you and the people you know are no longer doing business with them due to their support of SOPA. The list is far from complete, but it is a place to start.

But collectively shared and targeted effort/sacrifice will produce some sort of result. Just do your best. You have a lot of choices when you decide to spend your money, so make it count. The amount of effort you make towards your friends and family having a firm grasp of the situation correlates to the amount of effort they put forward in educating others. Actions matter the most! (sounds preachy but I dont give a **** - mountains of apathy have gotten us here)
(some disclosure - I have products from several of these companies in my house right now, but that doesnt mean I'm going to go throw them away.. Going forward however, I will make every effort to spend with the company that does not support SOPA.. and you better believe everyone in my immediate world knows about SOPA)
They have to be hit in the pockets or nothing will happen. It's the only way to get anything done these days; to these people, right and wrong only matter if it effects the bottom line..

This is weird, now I expect every website I visit to either have gone black or at least have a disclaimer up about SOPA/PIPA, and if they don't, I feel disappointed in them.
