The solo game

I have tried to play alone the solo game on normal. The first wave is ok , the second wave is harder to beat alone, but when the third wave comes it is very hard to survive it. I have played it already some rounds, but I havent passed the third wave untill now.



What do you think about the solo mode ? Is it possible to win a whole map without any mates????

Very possible. I play solo on Normal all the time. It's actually more of a thrill. Gives it that horror feel. Sometimes I go in the basement of West London just for the scare. But I've beaten Patriarch on Normal while solo quite a few times. Farm is the easiest to do solo on Normal. When the Patriarch comes just make sure you're on a bridge. When he fires his chain gun just get under the bridge and line-of-sight him. When he comes down to get you just wail on him with the Hunting Shotgun and repeat.

I find solo easier than multiplayer actually, because the more people you have the more the zombies scale. I can beat the Primarch on normal on solo easily but in MP I find that everyone just dies instantly.

I cannot beat it solo..online you have to concentrate on teamwork and less "rambo" style so maybe that's why I'm not good at soloing it.

Sure rambo's can usually survive when they are the last one alive I've seen it hundreds of times...but if you have good teamwork you would all have survived or at least most of you.

i find it to be like this two - the two steam achievements i have are from finishing maps by myself on normal, not in large teams...

on normal I can get all the way to the boss but then I have the problem of keeping him from ramming his rocket up my butt :\ Iv come close to killing him by myself with a lv 2 commando but Im not the commando kinda guy I'm a lv 3 Berserker (1.2/1.5 mil) once I get lv 4 Im going to try and take him on again >:| I will kill you mister just you wait.

Solo long normal is very possible on Farm, Manor and West London. On those map you just kite all day. Biolab is harder to kite but if you remember the path and don't take wrong turns it's possible. Office is very hard to solo as there's no room to kite.

Against solo patriarch, just hunting shotgun in his face. He runs after two alt fire for each heal.

First time i tested the game i was in the same situation. Almost gave up... Then i tried Beginner. Much better.

Now when I am a bit more experienced with the game, know how to score head shots etc - it is much easier (and higher level perks help out too i guess).

More fun to play with others though, you should try it.

lol I also find it easier to beat than in multiplayer. I beat solo everytime on normal, there are not many zombies on solo, that's why I think it's actually easier.

I've managed all of them on hard, but suicidal is sooo difficult.

Well, solo-ing isn't that hard. Maybe you should try to get lv3 perk before trying it. I've done it a few times, But only manage to kill patriarch once. That time, I mispress 4 and 5, result in a self-heal instead of a double hunting shotgun. Maybe I'm lucky

Most enemies' HP is pretty sad on Solo. Only suicidal Solo gives me any trouble. Even hard Solo is pretty much a joke until the Patriarch. Even when you get to him, he has the issue of 'dishing it out, but not taking it' with crappy HP...

Agree. Only suicidal is worth of Solo playing lol

hard has a more appropriate difficulty in solo, the patriarch is just perfectly challenging for a lvl3-5 support.

on suicidal the only way to get that damn primarch is with zerker/med speedboost, otherwise you simply get raped by the melee attack, especially considering how often the ai goes for two, if not three, consecutive melee attacks.
