Can I assume that the only difference between 1.1 and 1.2 is the actual mutator files, and not the textures and whatnot? I'd rather not make my clan people download the entire thing again if it's just a small change.

Very nice work, reminds me of the Spectre idea from a while back.

On that note, have you considered having it so that it can teleport through welded doors? :)

Interestingly enough the spectre (or in fact the female fleshpound) was something that I wanted to create with similar ideas, but it's hard finding modellers.

I've been considering the idea of it being able to teleport through doors, but I'm worried that it'd be more annoying than fun.

Correct, only the files in 'system' have changed.

Its not hard to find modelers...just needs the right questions... like: "would you like to make a mod with aliens in it?" Just an example....... :p

Hello, i just joined, even though i watched this forum for quite a while, i have a small problem with the shiver, i put him in sandbox with the line Shiver012.ZombieShiver and i have him in the enemy list, but when i call him it just spawns clots, this is in solo mode, but i did the same thing( with it's respective line of course) with the brute and that one spawns brutes in sandbox, does anybody know what could i be doing wrong? thanks in advance for any help :D

Check the log, it could give some clue as to what the problem is. I'll take a look at it if you want, just put it on pastebin.com.

Any tutorial or something to explain how to use the sandbox? I haven't used it before and would like to see some explaination to what each thing does before I tamper with it.

Thanks for the help offer, but i got it to work only after i posted, it seems i got in sandbox at add a monster to "monster a" right after "monster Z",and they just don't work anymore, and it's like this for all the monsters even the brute or the xmas guys, so i just eliminated some other enemies and made room for the shiver which is awesome by the way, it scared me good the very first time it went in my face when i was trying to shoot it from waaay afar. But i would be grateful if maybe anyone knows why after monster Z in sandbox any new monster just spawns clots instead?, this time i'm just curious that's all. ( also if this is in some tutorial or it's just common knowledge then i'm sorry i just didn't know )

Hey I have tried with this mutator on and everything works but I have a problem with it. The Shiver tends to be spawning too much and it tends to stop stalkers from spawning (so commando's have a real problem leveling).

Any chance of getting this changed?

if you stand near the trader door, The Shiver will also teleport inside the shop, so... can fix this? thx!

Ive seen this happening too, it teleports inside buildings or terrain sometimes and gets stuck. Maybe add some kind of timer that if he cant see a player or cant reach one he will automatically teleport to a random pathnode?

Also I think he is a little too good for such a common specimen, I mean he can attack right after teleporting and is maybe as fast as a gorefast, its sometimes rly hard to dodge his attacks and since he got so much hp its also kinda hard to kill him before he touches you. Not to mention groups of shivers teleporting right in front of you when you are trying to escape from a another group of specimens behind you... Perhaps either give him a small delay for the attack after teleporting or simply lower HP slightly? Or if possible make him less common so there wont be so damn many of them :p

i vote lower hp - its far more threatening as a swarm specimen than as a tanking specimen like the gf... Also, any word on whether or not this bad boy could be listed?
