The problem with that was that there wasn't enough audio in Ostfront to cover everything in RO2, thus some things, if I remember correctly, were left silent, or ended up using the existing RO2 voices, which to me, would have sounded pretty odd and just not worth the effort.

I guess he means using native RO2 voices. You can now do this in the audio menu!

...is this ,many of the new and even some of the old players,dont even know they exist ingame...:( and so they compare the game even more with CoD.

like this fellow comrade

@coldfire88:
Im trying to remove the ingame acting voices, things like "MAN DOWN", "ENEMY FIRE" and things like that, its pointless since no body screamed all the time like that in real battles. its supposed to get me into the atmosphere of the game but it kills it for me, reminds me of CoD than anything else... it irritates me so much that I usually play muted, is there any way at all to disable them?

Thats quite humourous that is. "...pointless since no body screamed all the time like that in real battles." He'd know because no doubt he was "there". I love the audio cues, they add to the immersion factor immensely. Voices, both native and Americanised sound gravy. Its a unique and novel feature. I feel like I have cock of steel hearing my avatar scream blood-drunk after mowing down a horde with an MG. Love it! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH AAAAAAAH AAAAAH!

@ "r5cya" Lol etc :p I love yer man's point about silent battlefields though "no body screamed all the time like that in real battles", that made we chuckle like a portly victorian shoolboy.

not sure why but i have to manually set native voices everytime or it reverts to bad accent land :(
I also find it immersion breaking when my idiot soldier starts yapping in a cap zone for no reason and to nobody, yapping under the stress of suppression or when exhausted i have no problem with but chatting when im sneaking into a cap is retarded, would have shot the peasent in basic training to save lives on the front if i saw him do it there. :p

Enemies are silent in CoD though. They don't yell random crap while trying to flank unnoticed. ;)
