After playing RO1 years back, and buying RO2 only a month ago, I would like to
know if anyone can relate to what I think.
Being a WWII fan, I enjoyed the similarity between great movies of the genre and RO1. Back then, I had moments that felt sort of like these first seconds of this awesome scene https://youtu.be/NSRr7wUjLxw?t=13
I hoped this feeling of intensive and quiet moments like these will be nurtured and improved in RO2, but unfortunately I couldn't find them.
To the contrary, a wide verity of sounds and a careful attention for sound dept is absent. The sounds are too flat and can't really help you better understand your surroundings. Out in the great fields you can't feel it, but the urban and indoor experience are affected badly.
