Its awesome and at the same time very sad when you think of all the ppl that have lost their lives in that fire

And yes its a great picture, just look at his cute little paws! Koalas are just not scared of humans I hear, maybe stupidly. Anyway he survived, but Koalas are slow so a lot died I guess My favorite marsupial, the Wombat is just as slow...
I really feel sorry for all the ppl that lost their loved ones and everything they owned, I studied in Melbourne for two years, traveled through the region where the fires hit, and went on wine tasting in the Yarra valley. I read the news from there every day.

The humanity in the picture is what I was commenting on, fires destroying swathes of houses and lives are not awesome.
