I wonder how the controls would work on a joypad

A while back i actually tried playing IL2 with my Logitech Dual-action gamepad just for sh*t's and giggles, i thought to myself "har har har, lets see how much this would suck arse if it was made for a console", which now seems incredibly ironic and extremely depressing..

Anyway, if what they say about the flight models being taken directly from the PC game is indeed true, then flying it is going to be about as much fun as beeing violated by a traffic cone.

But ofcourse, i wholly expect that to a half truth at best, and a bunch of stuff will be automated since a joypad just doesen't have enough buttons, and the more interesting realism aspects of IL2, like the need to trim the aircraft, or tinker with the prop pitch and fuel mixture, will be removed to make it flyable on a bloody console.. and considdering that IL2 on PC was allready a rather weak simulator when it comes to simulating the opperation of flying an aircraft (outside of just the stick and throttle quardrant part of the cokpit), boiling it down even more and still referring to it as a "simulator" is just criminal really.
