That movie is awesome, one of the best in my book.although that movie is actually pretty great
Sure, there are exceptions, but it still works in 9/10 cases, since most movies with such a trailer is the usual commercial crap anyway
I'm not really sure if this Stalingrad trailer is a pisstake or the real thing. Still, doesn't change the fact that it is indeed one of the greatest warmovies ever made.
This trailer was probably exclusively made for the US market since people there seem to have problems watching a trailer where this voice is *not* used to dumb it down

I saw "Stalingrad" a while ago.. it was good.. but the trailer seems to project a 'deep meaning' to the movie that I didn't think was there. to me the movie was just about some soldiers trying to stay alive throughout the war and make their way.
I have this movie in a steelcase dvd edition.
One of the best warmovies around imho, but you can see it's older thanks to some actors (old acting is a bit overexaggerated sometimes) but it's an impressive movie.

The way it is these days - if I see a trailer with that typical american movie voiceover, I don't watch the movie. It's really that simple
