The map Ogledow is very nice but....

It's a transparent texture, so no. It doesn't disappear. But I've experienced some z-depth sorting problems with this stuff (hardware specific?). So I'm not sure if a player model can hide in this stuff (and not be visible like he was sitting in front of the wheat field).

Yup. On medium (but custom) video settings with GF 9800GTX. It was either this wheat field, or some other dense vegetation. I could take a screenshot if you like. That is, after I re-download the game from Steam, as I deleted it a few days ago during one of frustration surges...

As has been said a thousand times, you could try to download all day from a game server and never get the files. If you want to play Ogledow_B3 you must use the link at the very first post in the Ogledow thread in the modding section of forums.

And as already said by me, "I manually downloaded it" which was from the link in the thread mentioned.

Someone said the server downloading system wasn't working, I was just saying that it is working, it's just slow as hell & not reliable.

err wrong, it downloads the wrong file ( the server version if I read yoshiros post correctly ), so no it does not work.

Well ok, fine it doesn't work... it "Appears" to work, but even if it did work, as I said, it's slow as frozen snot and you're still better off to manually download it.

To go on a tangent a bit, I think the worst downloading was in RO1 when trying to get the latest version of Arad_RealForest.... so many damn things to download & takes forever, while other maps usually took maybe 2 mins max and you had everything.

I tried to find the right Arad map online to manually download, but I usually couldn't find the latest version of the map, or even if I did, I still ended up downloading crap off the server.

Very true, and Im hopong for some improvement there for HOS. Atleast for Ost you could download it. I tried in vain as well to find some of those, and those 'real forest version xyz' servers would have been empty if there was no download at all.
