The term might confuse some people but what I mean by it is: fixing simple yet annoying problems that exist in the game currently. Maybe the community can help out with listing some of the more obnoxious yet simple to fix issues in the game currently. While there are more 'pressing' and high priority issues such as performance and crashing, this is a list of fixes that would improve the game itself without dabbling into the area of balance etc.
Remember this is for stuff that could be easily changed or fixed not for things like the 'no-shoot' bug that is bewildering us all. Anything that requires a complete redo of an existing system is NOT long hanging-fruit as it'd more than likely bring further issues to an issue prone game.
The list will be broken up into several categories and sub-categories in order to simplify things as the list gets larger.

I added a map section also as there's quite a few problems in some of the maps and being able to pinpoint them will be very helpful.

Tweaks- Not being able to remove Artillery markers as commander - Right now the only way to do this is by selecting the marker you want to remove with left click and then selecting another marker. This is obnoxious and annoying, please just make it so a right click will remove a marker.
- Give a notification when you've been 'replaced' via a commission - Just a simple message and returns you to the class select screen when you die - if you're not dead already.
- Add a list of who is in your vehicle/squad to the tactical overlay
- Make it more obvious when you can and can't spawn on your squad leader - Right now the majority of people believe that the squad leader spawning is bugged even though it really isn't just not many people know how it works. Instead of sending a manual to everyone make it more obvious when you can and can't spawn on your squad leader. This can be done in a few ways: 1) force the camera to spectate the squad leader. 2) add a message stating when the squad leader is in combat , this will appear while you're spectating him. 3) Pause the spawn timer on 0 for the individual player until the squad leader dies or leaves combat.
- Add a chat history hotkey or button to the escape menu.
- Add a hud icon for Squad leaders to indicate if people can spawn on them, also a number of people waiting to spawn on them next to it.
- Add a rose menu to the universal use key(cover button) that will appear when there is more than one action possible.
- Highlight the current players name on the scoreboard. - Similarly it might be a good idea to make it so if the current player isn't on the scoreboard (because their score is too low/too many players) that they'll be at the very bottom regardless.
- Select a spawn point by clicking it on the map rather than the 'Spawn 1' etc buttons
Gameplay
- Make it more obvious when a reload animation ends - It happens at least once, you reload your weapon, think it's reloaded and start moving again, try to shoot someone and hear a dreadful 'click'. Maybe make reload animations uninteruptable towards the very end of the animation. Like the very last few frames
- Swapping between Iron sights/Scope can be done without raising the sights/scope
End-user configuration
- Change chat colour based on side, squad and maybe class. Commander orange, your squad leader green etc. Maybe not text, maybe just the name.
- Hotkeys for individual voice commands
- Hud overlay transparency, individual client setting.
- Add hotkey combinations similar to RO1
- Have a forgive hotkey.
- Allow all 'use' key actions(cover, resupplying, bandaging etc) to be rebound

Glitches- Change Menu priorities - The escape menu should override both the map and respawn menu.
- Escape closes everything. Chat, Map, Spawn selection, battlefield commissions. Escape gets all that crap out of your face.
- Reduce the amount of chat messages during tanking. A lot of them aren't useful. - When a command is repeated, only display it once. So the chat isn't flooded with 'Turn left, turn left' over and over again.
- Make the player's current position on the map more obvious - The little triangle can be hard to find on a cluttered map.
- Resize the objective icons on the tactical overview - They're much too large and will block vision, usually when the overview is forced to appear when an objective changes hands
- Make use of the tooltips in the profile stats page - Right now if you mouse over stats a tool tip pops up that simply restates what you're hovering over. Please make use of these tool tips to explain what each stat means
Gameplay
- Auto-balance takes into account 'leader' roles and is least likely to swap them.
- Tank commanders should start in the commander position, not the driver.
- Changing classes while alive will change the class the next time you spawn, not forcing you to suicide. Allow an option to suicide if the player so chooses, something other than 'suicide' in console.
- Increase the time spent before map change on servers that do not use the voting features. - This is to allow players to chat after the game has ended. Just make it long enough that the full victory music can play like it does on servers with map voting enabled.
- Add a automatic 'ready' checkbox to the spawn menu - Some people would prefer to make sure they spawn where they want to spawn the first time but others would rather to spawn ASAP, this checkbox allows them to be always ready regardless of if they've set a spawn point.
- The spawn menu will remember your last chosen spawn point
- Squads only open when all existing squads are full. - The reason for this is on not completely full servers people will select Squad Leader, Assault and elite riflemen positions in completely empty squads which usually leads to the amount of automatic weapons:bolt ratio being completely out. This is particularly bad on servers running 64 player versions of the map with significantly less people. The first squad should always be open, the second squad should always be a specialist squad such as engineers or machine gun squads(and also be always open) while the 3rd and 4th should be locked until the first two are full. This can be a server setting
End-user configuration
- Increase the number of lines for chat or allow for end-users to set how many lines they desire.
- 'Looted' Veteran weapons are the default selection - A lot of people dislike the idea of spawning with a Russian weapon as a German and vice versa but disregarding that issue entirely, it's probably not a good thing that these weapons become the new default weapon for veteran classes. Please swap them around including the MKB over the Mp40 and AVT over the PPSh-41.

Mistakes and bugs- Fix the icons on the tactical overlay - A lot of icons clip through the ground. This is also an issue on the map where the icons are nowhere near the actual place they're marking
- Fix reopening the spawn menu - Right now you can press ; to reopen the spawn menu after already selecting a spawn, however it will usually close immediately after making it difficult to actually change your choice. This seems to be linked to the spectator system as it seems to close right after you left or right click.
- Fix squad class selection - Right now if you scroll down the list on the 'join a squad' menu and someone selects a class, your list will immediately jump right back to the top while the scroll bar will be stuck where you had it previously. Remove the jumping.
- Map voting - Similar to squad class selection, the map voting will jump back up to the top of the list and reset your currently selected map everytime someone votes.
Gameplay
- Artillery cancels on objective capture if the artillery target is in now protected area - This wouldn't be so much of an issue if it didn't mean you'd be without artillery for the full cooldown even if all you had was on mortar salvo before it fell into a protected area. This is particularly bad on Commissar's House.

Maps- Stats page does not work as intended, class unlocks do not show that they are unlocked, weapon unlocks will always say the next unlock is at 25 even when it is not. - Pretty simple just make everything work as it's supposed to. I'm guessing it was given the least priority as it's not exactly a game breaking issue.
- Fix the np/forgive system - There is no message for either successfully forgiving someone or being forgiven. Messages for both confirming an NP and when receiving one.
- Fix the voting system, again give feedback for successfully voting. Also add the ability to change the voting keys from F4 and F5.
- The 'Server is full' message can sometimes fall behind other UI elements.
- Squad leader move orders and 'suppress/attack' orders won't show on the tactical overlay.
- A lot of the names of upgrades on the stat page are incorrect - For example the K98 Scoped first unlock is supposedly a bayonet, when in reality in unlocks a 6x scope. It's second unlock is supposed a 1.5x ZF41 scope, when in reality it's a bayonet.
- If a player is team swapped upon being killed, his killer will receive a 'team-kill'

MG/AT weapons being unable to deploy on geometry that they should be able to -Current list:
- On Commissar's House the artillery protection is overly aggressive usually disallowing artillery on just locked objectives. A good example of this is if Allies take objective A, Axis cannot call arty on anything beyond point A.

- piles of grain sacks on Station
- various other bits of railway gear on Station
- all windows on all maps (that's right, check them all and fix the ones where deployment either buries you inside the wall or sticks you to the side of the window instead of the bottom edge).
- in the NCO barracks in "barracks", on the 2nd floor on the right middle room the overlooks the infirmary, there is some piece of geometry sticking out of the floor which can mess up your movements while crouched.
- on Pavlov's house, in the 2nd floor room that overlooks, there's a wooden pallet on the floor that can spam up your movement when you're crouched near the window, which can be problematic when you're having gunfights with people in the building across the street.
