The KF1 Voice acting is still far better than in KF2

I don't really see any problem. Its best we adapt to new changes

Like seriously? Nearly all of the KF1 quotes are epic. All the taunts, healing, requesting dosh. Hell, even simple things like getting help is 10 times funnier than most games, "anytime, no rush, HELP!", or when a player spot a scrake "please tell me that's NOT a chainsaw he is carrying".

What happen in KF2? "look out people, scrake!" I'm like WHAT? That's it? When patty shows up and charging you down, his line is like, "you murder my children", "I dont think you fully understand the situation, you're all going to die". Then what happen to Hans? "DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE!" "KILLKILLKILLKILL". That's lame... very lame man...

Closer than you would know.
So much flame.

Spoiler!

It would be nice to have a character with original VO however I won't cry if there wont be one.

Also for dear god stop the BS console command wheel. It is terrible, it is obstructive. It is slow.
Please return the key->key->key variant.

I'm repeating myself here but while KF1 was a niche thing aimed more at people who love and GET the whole grungy, grimy horror thing sprinkled with a generous serving of British humor, KF2 is a game aimed at the masses, more so at teenagers playing on consoles. It cannot be grimy and grungy and mention Millwall fans or pikeys. This may give said teenagers a headache because they don't get any of it.

It saddens me that most of the charm and flair of KF1 are gone but it is what it is and we have to live with it.

don't like the current banter especially each of them when one of my characters are trying to say something funny the japanese guy will try to "silence" or "talk to much" . Too much shut the hell up banters its making the game too serious.

You don't need to know
My biggest gripe with the voices is that all characters are more or less the same.
They're all talking about making money, how ugly the zeds are, and such.

It really seems like they have one shared personality.
The voices are fine, we just need some more personalities.

Come on, the voice acting and dialogue from KF1 was pants. All a bit too Dick van Dyke "Cor blimey Mary Poppins..." style mockney accents and cultural references that few people outside of England would ever get. It was only funny because it was so bad, though for that reason it did have a certain charm.

That said, I wouldn't be against them introducing a character or two using the old voice actors, for the sake of nostalgia.

I understand the logic behind what you're saying, but it's important to remember not to blanket claim everything. Thankfully there's nothing stopping TI creating one or two new characters that would perhaps appeal more to the KF vets. I would happily pay DLC price for a KF1 character pack voiced by Mark and Alan. Pikeys, Millwall, nostalgia and everything.

Currently, a lot of the empty space betwixt all the shooting and trading is interspersed with lots of serious-sounding VO filler. It's not a bad thing, but it will definitely get old fast. What i liked about KF1 was that you could create your own banter with your squad via the insult players voip option. Both hilarious and satisfying, it's something in particular i rrrreally hope they bring back.

KF1 voice acting:
Humour: 8/10
Britishness: 9/10
Dosh: 8/10
Banter: 10/10

KF2 voice acting:
Humour: 3/10
Britishness: 3/10
Dosh: 1/10
Banter: 2/10

That is all.

New "clip" in.

THANK YOU! I am not the only one that bothers then!

Devs need to add a couple lines of voice acting into the game where little comments come out like

"You sound different"
"I hate the sound of your voice, SHUT UP!"
"Did a clot bite your bits and berries mate? Your voice is not the same."

I personally like the new voices (except for Ana, she's pretty damn annoying). Though I must admit the old voices just have to make a comeback somehow. Maybe Captain Wiggins and one of the original characters come back with voices by Male1 and Male2 (I don't know their names, sorry). Captain Wiggins just fits the exaggerated voice.

One way i found to bring back to the KF1 feel is to say the KF1 sayings over voice chat in my horrible British accent
Its up to us KF1 players to keep the KF1 voices alive.

I'm always blabbering this at the trader.

Who needed money??
Here's some cash guys someone take it.
Dosh grab it while ya can lads
Lods of emone!

When attacked by stalkers

Invisible women out to kill ya eh
Give us a kiss while your still warm
Ohhh that's just nasty

I believe part of the problem is actually the mixing. Some of the voice lines get drowned out, where as in KF1 they were one of the louder parts.

An easy solution would be to up the default mix and maybe add an optional slider for those that would prefer a voiceless experience.

I really don't see the fascination about KF1's voice acting. It was absolutely nothing special.

Let's consider the possibility that the devs respect the identity of KF1 enough to not try and phase it out with KF2, choosing instead to give the latter its own authenticity.

Same. For people to say it was "far better" than KF2's is probably nostalgia talking. In KF1 almost all the characters had the same voice (save for a few unique ones). They were funny at first, but after putting many hours in it became slightly mundane. TW did some very nice work with the characters so far in 2 IMO. They each have unique dialogue... and while I agree there needs to be adjustments made, what we have so far is pretty darn good.

Edit: I do hope they get Alan Wilson in the studio though for a character. The return of Captain Wiggins is a must.
