The KF1 Voice acting is still far better than in KF2

Another case of nostalgia. I know I liked the charm of KF1 voices too but it's time to move on. Tripwire wants to expand the game's appeal to newer players. If a player new to the KF series were to play KF2 with KF1 voices, they'd think tripwire went super cheap on the voice acting department.

Besides, KF2 voices are fine. Lots of variety is nice. A good balance between being too campy and too serious.

I definitely think scully and foster are the best of the bunch. The others? Meh...

Scully is DLC though. And foster doesn't have too many references to KF1. All I heard was the "fur coat and no knickers" line.

I'm actually surprised I haven't heard the characters comment on the 1 weird trick the Scrakes and Fleshpounds used to put on that much muscle.

This. I think most people took the joke seriously and thought it was a mistake.

I got that yesterday and thought it was hilarious. In the heat of battle who really gives a **** anyway, isn't a mag just a clip in a fancy box? :rolleyes:

QFT. Although I'd amend it to "Prepare to face ****strom from some KF vets." I've got plenty of hours in KF1 to take that title, and am not getting my panties twisted in a bunch over every change. Even the stuff I don't like I can say so without taking it as insult, or whining about how my pride has been affected. As though putting hundreds of hours into KF1 means you earned the Distinguished Service Medal, or some ****.

They amped up everything, better scripts, more dynamic dialogue, commenting on situations, and unique on every character...then get called 'worse than previous game'

And I mean "veteran"s not veterans, notice the quote.

I am from ze germany.
I think most of the accents are right in place for an european pandemic.

But Tripwire.. PLEASE!!!!!

There is to much BLA BLA BLA ingame.
I switched from german language to english, just to hear voices ingame.
The german version has "understandably no translated voice actors".
I was confused with all that blablabla.....

There is no second without talking.
And the voices are to loud. even louder than my own shots.
Please consider a separate volume slider in the options for future tasks.

Keep up the good work.

I don't enjoy the new voice acting. Some of it really makes me cringe. KF1 voice acting was pretty authentic and yet, amazingly cheesy. I think the voice acting in KF2 is trying too hard and falling rather flat.
