5.7 not 5.56 :p
No...thats for the FN sidearm the 5.7mm is a pistol round. The 5.56mm is an assault rifle round. FYI, the bullpup in the game is supposed to be using it.

--> Actually the "5.56" in that pic (I'm saying that because that's what it is said to be, from where I got it) does seem kinda small (I should've just checked the file name).

But if the 5.7 is implemented then it wont work with most of those ammo types.

Well i would love to see more rifles from our arsenel of awsomeness:

Firstly would like to see vareints of the SA80 along with the standard:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/SA-80_rifle_1996.jpg
This is the standard issuse L85A2 which is currently in service. This gun would be good becasue it would have a small scope with some zoom (very little) for more range but at the cost of some of ur view around u when zoomed.

Another weapon i would love to see is the british GPMG (General Perpose Macine Gun) GIMPY its nick name (L7A2 its offical name) is the main MG used by british forces. This weapon can be carried and shot and also mounted on a tripod for accuracy. This weapon would be a very good weapon to add to Killing Floor becasue the varity of tactics avalible would increse ten fold with this gun. This gun would be amazing for holding hallways but u would be at the large risk of getting killed if enemys got close as it would take time to dismantle the tripod. It could be fired standing up but would be a very large cost of accuracy. This would go to the support class :D

I would also like to see this varent of the SA80 included. This is a LMG support weapon. It has a much longer barrel and so is much more accurate at longer ranges but is more awukward and slower to reaload becasue of lenth (its true i know a guy in the Marrines who used one of these).
BTW the gun on the bottom is the standard SA80 i mentiond at the top

And finaly yes the trusty MP5 used by the SAS this gun packs a punch for its size and is very accurate: needs no explaining :p

I think the commando needs some kind of LMG or a Gatling type weapon, because the bulpup does very little damage, and theres is nothing else for the commando other than that, maybe something deployable like the Bren in Mare Nostrum xP

(I started writting this post before reading the previous one, so with it It would be nice to have that LMG, but I disagree about the MP5, i think there is no need for weapons that are very similar to each other and has the same functionality)

hrmm perhaps somone forgot guidelines, just a personal though. Seeing as your a 'military group' you should have access to military weapons of many countries ( you think some other countries would be willin to share some boom booms in the time of a zombie appocalipse). As it is also a zombie appocalipse (well atleast in britian) any civilian or old military weapons would be in use. ( the canadians, brits and americans still have stocks of old weapons like lee enfields / m1 garands / m14's mostly used in parading and training)

bit more info on teh FN 5.7mm round, quoted from wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FN_Five-seven

Conventional hollow point bullets rely on expansion to create a large wound channel, but the Five-Seven's ammunition is designed to hit, travel a few inches, then tumble end over end without deforming. This means that the wound it creates would be as tall as the length of the projectile (more than 21 mm), supposedly creating a more grievous wound channel, but without the expansion of a hollow point or the fragmentation of a frangible bullet.

also theres a page dedicated to the 5.7mm rounds (the more modern ones by FN, not the old 5.56 ones)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5.7x28mm

the page describing the ammo says the average penetration depth is around 250mm meaning that while they are armour piercing they arent "penetrating" in the traditional sense of passing right through and hitting whatevers behind.

I would like to see the molotov cocktail added as a grenade type weapon that would be good for the firebug perk
Molotov_cocktail200.jpg

i know it said one suggestion per person, but quickly a better assault rifle for the commando perk so they are more viable against bigger guys

OMG people!!!!!

All i see is alot of people who wants COD5 and COD4 guns in KF. You really think on West London with the Army and The Police running around, that they will have STG 44 or a KAR98?!

Those are crazy ideas!!! Keep it with the KF theme. I wouldnt mind a sniper weapon for the larger maps that will no doubtly come into the community. Molotov is always welcomed. I also welcome ANY pistol as they are awesome! Especially that glock! And the commando should not have an MG! The commando should have a light weapon and carry abit of c4 or something.

I also want to see them put fists into the game. So you can actually switch to your bare hands and fight them off!

I'm sure they would also use Winchester lever rifles and crossbows too.

YouTube - 2x Full auto Glocks

Any of these.

I'm confident you can shoehorn virtually any small arm into KF if you treat the attributes of firepower, range, price, weight etc. as a zero-sum game, so it is all balanced out and people can select a class-specific loadout based on personal preference (not simply what class they are).

I'd prefer not to see tacticool plastic guns in the game just 'cause some guys on the internet saw it on an episode of Future Weapons, though...

A G36c pretty much speaks for itself.;)

No, it does not.

I personally don't like the G36 series, and what would be the point of it? Its another 5.56 carbine. Basically a pretty looking L22.

Why must people ruin a weapon discussion with saying "You took that from CS!" or "That's in COD4!". My god people! They are guns that are everywhere! The AWM in CS is used by British Snipers. The MP5 in COD4 is used by everyone. The KAR98k can be bought by civilians. A STG44 would be hard to find, but you can find them. Stop screwing with people's suggestions unless they are truly ridiculous!

Zeptorem- I like most of your suggestions, but there a few that are a bit much. The M99 might be a too powerful for the game (Even though Barrett rifles are godly in every way possible), and the M202A1 might also be a bit much, make it a Carl Gustav and it would be perfect.

I figure the M99 would be balanced out by it being single-shot and long to reload. It would pretty much be used only for fleshpounds, scrakes, patriarchs, and maybe long lines of clots...

As much as I like the Carl Gustav, I suggested the M202A1 FLASH for the firebug because it's specifically an incendiary launcher (it replaced the flamethrower in the US military).

There's another idea I had too... a flare gun that everyone has (and recharges like the syringe gun) that you can fire up into the air to let teammates know where you are or to provide brief illumination. Or just set specimens on fire.

Nice, the flare gun seems about the best idea round these parts. I'd one up that one.;)

An illuminating/damage dealing flare gun that lodges fire into the bellies of the beasts or can light up your world. Awesome... *Good flashlight fix as well lol*

I think an illuminating flare would be incredibly helpful for Farm, not to mention do a lot for the atmosphere and immersion of the game... there's nothing like sneaking around in the dark then sending up a flare and seeing dozens of zombies, bathed in red light, advancing toward you.

Well.. the thing is u see. Our gov is kinda more sane in the UK than America and we dont have a "guns for all" law meaning that civ with guns is few and far between. The odd Mac 10 appears in shootings but nothing like America. Sry but only weapons used by the british army and some smuggled weapons (mac 10 seems to be most common) would be avalible :p

well that's not completely true cos just 3 posts above you is a weapon that if im not mistaken has only featured in one retail online shooter - vietcong 2
However I doubt it would be a popular choice for exactly this reaon as ppl prob want to see weapons they already know in games (or in RL) - however personally as it's rarely depicted i would love any excuse to see this weapon in a game.

KF is the best candidate i can think of cos its a CQB weapon which as R Raven pointed out it was indeed used by the British army

Unfortunately if KF is set in the presant/near future then realistically speaking there wouldn't have been many still around of course- In fact you may find that a foreign smg like the vz.61 is more abundant in London, due to it's popularity with the criminal fraternity.
