The grenades need a buff

I'm talking about the hand grenades not the grenade launchers. Every time I throw one, the ZEDs just avoid it and take minimal damage. I really think that the behaviour of avoiding grenades should be removed. It makes my hand grenades almost useless

1) Grenades are useless except for opening doors.

2) Would you also like for the specimens to stand in a line to make things easier?

Grenades should have damage scaled according to difficulty, so they would still be able to kill anything on suicidal. Right now I can't think of use for them except blowing up doors. Even to save surrounded teammate you have to throw at least 3, and frankly, they rarely explode while he's still alive.

What would this do to firebug grenades, which are arguably useful for crowd control because of the speed debuffs?

Throw 1 grenade is useless but throw 3-4 grenades, that's the solution.

The baddest problem is the shoot of the husk. It target you and shoot, then all zeds elude it and the fireball hurt you --'

I'm sure its been suggested before, but the ability to cook grenades like in CoD4 would seriously help.

Its a choice of getting 1 great nade or stacking several for a big AoE spike.

Throwing down a grenade to make the zeds back off has saved my life many, many times.

Except that they never actually back off, they just shift to either side trying to avoid the nade but still keep following you assuming you are the one they are targetting at the moment.

I'm sure its been suggested before, but the ability to cook grenades like in CoD4 would seriously help.

YES, thats exactly what we need. And another word for it is "priming" I believe.

The grenades atm are useless unless the specimens are in a tight corridor or something. I think lesser specimens shouldnt try avoiding the nades at all tho, regardless if they added the ability to cook nades.

I misworded, yes they do just take a longer route around the grenade... but it really helps take the pressure off for a second or two so you can heal and/or take out the nearest couple gorefasts that are preventing you from doing so.

...though making them actually back away could be a great way to make them more powerful...
