What is that weird blue and gold winged symbol? Is it supposed to be some obscure WWII medal that I have never seen before?
A Balkenkreuz would look better.

They should use the Swastika.
While we're at it, what's this Axis vs Allies language used in the game? "The allies are capturing the barrack".
It should be Germans vs Russians. Or Wehrmacht vs Red Army. I can't imagine anyone on the eastern front seriously calling each other axis and allies. This only work when talking about the whole of WWII, not a specific front with 2 mostly homogeneous opposing forces.
I don't mind the Germans being labelled the Axis (they were, along with the Roman Republic and the Shogunate of Love) but including the Soviet Union in the Allies is a bit rich. They weren't allied with anyone involved - other than, rather ironically, the Third Reich until '41 - and fought tacitly alongside the Allies (UK/US, etc.) out of sheer necessity.
Obviously I understand why TWI have done this (and it's not really a big issue for me) but clearly it's out of convenience for commonly understood faction names.
I suppose it's a bit like the United States being considered an Entente power during the Great War, when in fact they were an 'associated power' both at the time and at the peace table.

I'd love a swastika, but a Balkenkreuz would be almost as good.
