She was wearing sandals. I was having a meal on a table about 20m from the escalator and heard a child crying and her mother screaming in desperation (at first I thought it was an adult woman who got hurt, because she was screaming louder than the child). A lot of people approached them and some employees came to help with a few technicians and a fireman. Her mother passed through me running holding the girl while covering her foot. A minute later some guy ran after them saying he found the toe. I hope the doctors manage to re-implant it.

Remember not to step in the yellow line :D

Well, sounds like it was quick enough that it might have been saved.

Speaking of escalators and Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu.... Especially since X-Mas is coming...

Escalators are to make your trip up or down the stairs faster.... NOT TO MAKE YOUR TRIP LAZIER.

Unless you're a senior citizen, move that ***!

Exchange server corruption.

Never resolved.

Rebuilt new server at data center.

over 300 exchange email accounts with about 30 different companies affected.

Worked from 9:30am to 2:30 am yesterday to today.
Gone back at work for 9:30am... it's now 5pm...

Had to recreate every account... takes time.
Connect to every workstation, export data into pst, create new profile, import data.

We are 3 - 4 people...

Lack sleep, frustrated with all the I CAN"T WORK... WE HATE YOU...

DIE you USELESS TECH's... NOW FIX MAAAAAA EMAIL.

While trying to get things fixed...

Had a ****ty day today. ****ing freezing and wet in the middle of summer. I'm bloody broke and can't do ****. Open up steam for the first time and everythin has one gig of updates or more (TF2 has almost 11gigs, more then my monthly quota). Computer is having strange crashes when starting up. I've had it with my useless broadband provider which craps out whenever someone calls, and they say it's my router setup (had the same setup for about three years now and work perfectly until they swapped to the new "XT" network). Father came home drunk and tried to start a fight with everyone and has basically told me that hes not gonna get me a Christmas present anymore.

I think I can somewhat understand your pain, but atleast in my case I usually dont have to deal with dickheads ...

I was once dating a heavily religious girl. She was uber-fit but wanted me to come along and see these 'big top' evangelists.

I went to see one, figuring that that would earn me at least tops and fingers - when it didn't I hit the ejector button.

As a frustrated teenager, I had very little shame.

Destroyed my favourite white shirt today by stretching, I forgot to open the buttons first and then it went like BRZZ. Wouldn't care so much if the same hadn't happened to the last white shirt(which was exactly the same one). Normal fit shirts make you look fat/are too big, with slim fit shirts you always have to watch out not to make any potentially dangerous movements. One day when I'm rich I'll just have everything custom-made :p

Honestly, if you're concerned about that as a guy, you should give back at least one testicle, as you don't deserve it. :p

Also, you could buy normal cut shirts one size smaller, so they'd fit better. It's also advisable to buy shirts in stores which actually have a true shirt compartment, as there, you can buy shirts with different girth and arm length sizes to find a better fit. Just don't buy shirts at H&M, New Yorker etc, even though they're slightly less pricy there.

Having said that, I would never wear a shirt in my free time, as I detest ironing them, thus only wear and crumple them when absolutely neccessary.

What's made it worse is the fact that I've had "summer in the city" stuck in my head for the last 16 hours!!!!!
