I was able to enter an RO2 server without crashing after turning off the windows firewall.

That's it, just turn off your firewall until tripwire releases a fix

i promise you it will happen again.. It's totally random, I'll do things that make me think its fixed then play for awhile then close the game and go to play again and it does it again.. It's random. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Must be different for each individual. I've tested with the firewall on and off and the results support my previous assumption.

Running in windowed mode seems to help me a little bit

I have had my firewall turned off the entire time even before I even downloaded the beta, so it's not that, just totally random like as mentioned above
