I'm not sure that the specimens would need the Channel Tunnel or a fleet? I mean, I don't that there's anything stopping them from either a) swimming, or b) walking across the bottom of the sea bed a la Pirates of the Caribbean.

The other thread was actually pretty funny. It wasn't just people insulting other countries they were also insulting their own. It was all in good fun.

Give the whole ficticious nature of this I'm not sure how it can really be kept serious to any degree.

I know, but I was hoping for some speculation, or thought on the possible plot to a small degree, although humor was expected and embraced! I was simply hoping to hear peoples ideas that are more serious (slightly) on this thread, instead of having them drowned out.

They arent zombies, so they still need air. And swimming the english channel is much more dangerous when your naked, hairless, and cant process 2+2.

We really need more details in the whole fiction around the spawning vats/machines/whatever.

If you're going to have some country crushing event it will need probably millions of specimens.

I imagine that any land bridges would either be blockaded or destroyed (assuming specimens can't swim).

If they can, then that would involve a very difficult blockade of the entire country's surrounding waters combined with a bombing campaign. Maybe a tactical nuke or two would be brought to the party!
