You must have taken something else, cause in Skyrim skooma is just a stamina potion. :/

One man's meat is another man's poison, then. I would get 3-4 second freezes while travelling, as new terrain would be loaded up and new actors generated - now I no longer have that issue (it simply gets slightly choppy for a moment).

I do get the odd CDT now, however. Very irritating if you've spent 10 minutes transmutating a pile of iron ore into silver ore and then into gold ore, so you have enough raw material for grinding up smithing up to 50.

I sometimes get those quick freezes when traveling, but only about a second or so. Still get those unexplained CTDs too. Luckily I have gotten used to saving a lot.

39 hours so far. Great voice acting (although repetitive use of voice actors), amazing visuals (when tweaked), a massive amount of content, frequent surprising dynamic events, a compelling story line, and great performance. GOTY for me. And I typically don't like fantasy games and get bored quickly with single player. Finally a game deserving of the praise and hype.

Yes, but that assumes you assume the perceived reality to be an objective reality. Here's a thought: the Thalmor are magically influencing your perception of the world, thus leading you to believe that an innocent commoner is a bandit thug. They are fukkering with your brain, man!

Edito: And now for something completely different! Seen that link from Steam's Skyrim links? The Elder Strolls
