The Deep South is a team coming from vcod. We'll also have a 64 player pub open as soon as the linux server binaries are relased. If the rumors are true and RO only supports 32 players, then we'll just lower it to a 32 player pub :).

No problem. It will be a 32 player server, then. With lots of extra muscle to prevent any lag :).

For what it's worth, it would be interesting to have 16 players spawn per team, with 16 additional players per team waiting to spawn as soon as someone dies. Kind of like an instant reinforcement thing. That make for some interesting last man standing action.

I heard that in COD, when you play 64 man, people spawn inside eachother and that messes it up for both players...just what i heard anyway.

imho 64 player CoD or CoD2 is pants, i much prefer smaller scale battles of max 15v15 in CoD and max 8v8 in CoD2, the maps are just too small to make it tactical, its just a blood bath.

CoDuo however is great with 64 players, i used to love GAs UO server before CoD2 came out and took away all the players.

Untrue, Ive seen that happen maybe once or twice in like 3 years of playing the game. Undoubtly RO will have more than 16 spawn points per team, and chances of a whole team dying at once seems unlikely. The only thing stopping people from running 64 players would be server power, I dont remember ever seeing more than 32 people on a server in the mod, and even then sometimes the server crawled.

Untrue, Core 32 player's server usually has 32 players on it at night, and works just fine! but if with 32 its alredy too many guys to shoot with a kar98k
imagine with 64!! would be mp40 and stg44 party!!! nobody would be stupid enought to carry a kar98k aganist 32 enemy players!! would just be suicidal in my point of view :)
