The cure to cancer is HIV.

If it works, then that's amazing. Wish they had stuff like this when my grandparents were around.
Still though, must have been tense at first. Even if you knew you were on your death bed due to advanced cancer; having the doctors say "We can inject you with experimental modified HIV with a possibility of treating your cancer."

Well, at least you generally don't die from HIV anymore. You die with HIV. Horrible as that is, it's not as bad as wasting away from cancer.

Actually there are other cures for cancer that are coming out, but are overly expensive because its hard to mass produce.
Now if only we had Modified HIV that could [infect/modify] [HIV/infected cells] to cure the person and in turn cure/battle cancer.
I think what I was suggesting earlier is nano-robots or these small pills that go through your blood vessels and spray toxins onto cancer cells.
I was going to post that "normal" HIV/AIDS can increase the risk of tumours or cancer, but apparently that's caused by co-infections. It's strange to think that if you could isolate and modify HIV, it could actually help fight the symptoms of other HIV-related viruses.
HIV is just another virus, so it makes sense that when they modify the DNA/RNA inside the virus they can "reprogram" it to be malicious specifically towards other malicious/malignant cells and organisms in the body.
