Same here, I played a few rounds but...I think I'll stick to some other games for now until it's sorted out. I hope in a few months time things will be fun.

I played over 50 hours in the beta just because the game was so damn fun, even with the blue screens and CTD, but after playing last night for an hour and a half, I think I'm gonna read about the Stalingrad battles for a couple of weeks instead. Over to the history threads I go....

Over the course of two rounds, I led kills by a factor of 2. The first round I used bolt action only, scoring 55 kills.

The second round however, I used the nagant revolver. I scored 32 kills SOLELY with the revolver, fighting against mkb42s.

Like it, like it very much!

I managed to bayo several MKB-tards this morning as they rushed my hidey hole. Some very satisfying kills to imagine the other player going "BULL****" as I stab them in the face before they can hose me down with their precious auto-fire.

Don't see anyone running around with AVT-40. Probably because its not as strong as the Mkb 42.

Not only not as strong, it's garbage.

I couldn't kill someone 20M away in apartments.

I'll just play unranked if this means having a less retarded distribution of weapons.

And I will do this until someone comes around that changes the class limits on existing maps, or new maps come along.

But unfortunately, the browser refuses to refresh after selecting the unranked tab.

When the lowest-tier weapons have the accuracy of a railgun and kill on almost any hit, that alone reduces any balance issues. Every gun in the game feels overpowered

I don't understand people.

Why can't you kids all stop crying and moping about automatic weapons? The assault class is already drastically limited in comparison to riflemen. Most games I've played the kids using MKB's get killed just as much as everyone else. You all need to seriously just suck it up - also, stop assuming that everyone using an MKB is just some CoD kiddo. That's not true, and you just come off sounding like elitist snobs - not something that will bring more players to the game.

I'm doing this out of fun and good humour - I'm not actually an elite cultist of any sort.
Further, myself and many others are not crying cause we get killed by the weapon (well, at least I'm not) - just the fact the intuitive system TWI had planned is currently gone - and everyone gets to use a gun that most likely did not even exist in stalingrad

I think I'll join, in fact I only tried the AVT once, and haven't even touched the MKB, it just have no attraction for me at all.
I'm sure I'll eventually try it out in the arcade mode, but in realistic modes it has no place.
I will to the best of my ability combat those that ruin the realistic immersion by using the MKB.

It was good day to be a rifleman.

I managed to kill 5-6 Mkb wielding chuckleheads in defense of our last point on Spartanovka with nothing more than a bayonet. It was largely due to my epic stabby defense that we managed to win the map.

I could just envision the feelings of rage and shame they felt as I ambushed them from around the corner and stabbed them right in their stupid Mkb wielding faces...

killed two nazis, one of them wielding an mkb, with one shot from a nicked k98 (my mosin had run out of ammo) ...didn't even know it was possible to shoot through guys.

I'd rather join a crusade against the arcadish game mechanics. If they fix weapon sway and remove other unrealistic features it won't even make a difference to me what weapons are available. I don't even care if future maps are in Stalingrad or anywhere on the east front anyway. I miss the MG42, infact I miss everything that RO1 was and RO2 just isn't. Seems I'm the only one that got bored with this game after a week where I played ROOST/DH for 1000_ hours.

I used the AVT for fun yesterday. Still a POS, even with a bugged level 20 or something like that. Anyone who says they prefer it to the Mkb for its performance is trolling.

I'll stick to the PPSh and bolt rifles.

This past week I haven't even noticed the assault rifle kids. Sure there is one or two on every server and occasionally they are doing well, but most often they don't on the servers where I play.

What does grate on my mind is the semi-autos going "DERP DERP DERP DERP" at short range before scoring a hit. They are my most hated kind of enemies because it reeks of low skill level and cheap kills. I'd rather they had an SMG, because then I might have a chance to kill them while I'm bleeding out.

Elite Rifleman might just be called l33t rifleman. Rant over.
