To all you nice modders who make this wonderful zed:
I'm trying to help. I'm trying to make him very different from FP and scrake killing. And hard. But, as I've said: It is YOUR zed and I understand if you are conservative about changes simply because my idea doesn't fit into the exact same role as the one you thought about while creating him. The changes were just too big, and the implications would make him into another zed. Ultimately incorporating my suggestions might have made him a bit less of "your own" zed.

I again declare all my suggestions null/void/false.
I understand that I can not prove his behavior to be hard for zerk without showing you, and that the suggestions might fit a completely different zed more.

And I will enjoy your brute the way he is also. He is fantastic anyway. I will not "ignore the mod and not play it". Why would I? I like him, like I said in my first post.

Yes my posts were long and if you didn't comprehend I don't blame you. I can only blame myself for being unclear. Actually no one seems to understand me so it must be my fault. I have to get better at explaining :Q
And I can understand if you think my first posts had a tone of "make it easier" in it. Unintentionally. It wasn't what I meant to say. I tried to show what I really meant in my other posts but I didn't get my point through.

I understood your purpose with the brute from the beginning, but I understand it even better now. Though my suggestions weren't meant to alter his rate of success to reach those goals.

I have learned something from this thread anyway, and will apply those lessons when making suggestions for the shiver. You aren't rid of me yet :D
You are such a good source of inspiration you can't blame people from getting ideas.
I was not actualyl telling you not to post at all, only for what this argument me and you got into so we could get back on topic, that's all.

Thanks for that conclusion you had there though as it has cleared up why the majority of our argument was rather off.

Also my requirment for KF official status approval is a way for zerkers<3 to be able to solo them without taking damage. It doesn't have to be easy (preferably hard, that's even better) but theoretically any other perk has the ability since they are ranged, only fair. If you can stun them with a well timed headblow/get behind them (solo)/avoid attacks/anything else to solo them then I'm satisfied :D

I've come to understand that TWI doesn't care at all if something fits the KF style/game play/quality for whitelisting. The only thing they qare about is if it will be exploitable for perk leveling. Since it is qompletely optional this approach wont ruin game play since you just choose another server if you don't like it.
This sounds like I dislike it but I think it's admirable to whitelist the craziest mut designs that just makes the game harder because those who enjoy harder-than-HoE qan still be kept satisfied this way and it has no drawbacks (KFImpossibleF mut is whitelisted is but will not EVER be a part of the default gameplay). It gives more power to the community.

That is why I firmly believe that TWI making requests for flame panic and stun animations (if they did lol? not sure... ignore this if they didn't) to fit with the other KFZeds is a clear indicator that this isn't considered for whitelisting. It is considered by TWI for official acceptance on every server automagically ;D
So the discussion here about official recognition must have some truth behind it, qongrats.

And why does it spawn at wave 2 when it is strong as scrake/FP (depending on situation)?
It spawns very early by default.

Its a speciman designed to be hard. I put it on the same difficulty level as the husk, siren, and scrake (FP has another level above them IMO, but anwho) where you get screwed if you don't pay attention, but can deal with them if you're ready. It makes you think of your approach, makes you scream to your team to shoot while he chases you, but he's workable. Which is why I dislike adding a zerk exploit - If you make it so a zerk can kill them special, like the silly scrake stun, you've given them yet another major advantage and one in which they won't need anyone else. You mentioned one way of having "back attacks" which is silly to me. Because if you truely are behind him and alt-fire an axe or claymore or katana into his head, he's almost gone. What more do you need?

But if he dies that easily then my zed will get a health boost so he isn't that easily killed.... I hope I will meet him in game soon so I can see how weak he is.
If I actually make one, I can only program and do a bit of modeling. And I've never tried unreal stuff. But I've tried enough languages to learn a new one fast and easily...

Tried this in game, looks neat, first time you will see this you will suppose it runs slower due to the change of the run animation but it is exactly the same threatening and fast as before, so gratz to the modders who worked on this!!! :D

No behavior changes. Hence it still beeing whitelisted. This change had to be made a long time ago. Enjoy.

Just remember that depending on how you add it, your map may not run on servers that dont run The Brute.

It's a good idea to get more servers using The Brute though, I for one am in support of high quality maps that require The Brute installed :p
