The bandage system actually is just an instaheal button. Nothing more.

It happened me to see people bandage directly insight then return fire and headshot the opponent. Yes sometimes i do this and it work well :D

Lets keep this on the front page, hopefully the devs can see it and do something about it.

Bandaging is a stupid system and way too broken implented in this game.
Im sure they wanted something different from the health generating that the majority of other shooters use but the current bandage system isnt the answer.
Its just plain frustrating that you shoot somebody over long range only to see him duck away and bandage himself and then being able to continue like nothing happend.

That's correct. The health system is a little bit broken. It actually takes less time to patch yourself up with a bandage in RO2 than it takes to self regain health in battlefield or cod. The only major diffrence is that you do it manually in RO2. Patching yourself up should take at least 10 seconds in my opinon and the injuries should affect the player more; injuries in the legs should make you limping around and direct hit to either of the arms should make your aim less steady.

It would also be cool if your teammates name became red while they were injured, and then, as a medic, you could fully restore their health and gain score for this. Unfortunately, medics won't appear in the game, but I like the idea anyway.

I like your idea of the health system, it would be kinda awesome if it were implemented :p

And to the people who say bandaging should be ditched, IRL would you bandage yourself if you got shot? or would you rather bleed...

I like the idea behind the bandage system, but currently it is far from perfect. One time I shot the enemy and hit him in the leg. At the same time my rifle said CLICK (out of bullets). While I reloaded the enemy put on his bandage and shot me in the head. Lol... Putting on a bandage is done faster than reloading??? Hahaha... well at least I learned the lesson to switch to pistol 1st ;)

To my opinion the bandage time should be increased. It must at least take longer than the reload time. Next should a wounded soldier somehow have a penalty on aiming (give him a blurry vision or something else).

I agree with the OP totaly. The bandage system is bogus. The bleeding out is okay sometimes because adrenaline keeps you going in the face of death.

A team mate needs to bandage you.

I made a long suggestion about bandaging in my big suggestion post.

Some people seemed to like the idea quite a lot.

Bandaging System
To be honest, I like how bandaging is in the game it adds slight realism but I seriously think it's not finished. Here's a couple of ideas to make it more realistic and fun.

Bleeding out seems too fast. I think it should take at least a couple of minutes to bleed out. Maybe the more you wait the screen gets darker and more blurred making it harder fight on. This way people get in cover or fall back to bandage up and bandaging should take at least 30 seconds for each wound and doesn't use 1 bandage for multiple wounds.

It also needs a cool animation to know that you are bandaging, I always get confused not knowing if I bandaged up or not. I think a good animation would you put your gun away, pull out the bandage and rip it up a bit then your hand go down you can hear yourself putting it on but you can't see it. Another way to make this cool is maybe how much you are hurt the more bandage you use which could see by looking at how much bandage there is when you rip it. This could be a more authentic way instead of writing "2 Bandages left".

I also feel that if bandaging was made this way I think the Medics could easily be used in the game. The alone players could maybe have a very little amount of bandages but the medics could have a lot and also be quicker at bandaging than normal soldiers are.

I would actually love it if bandaging was like this. I can just imagine how great it would be ingame.
