The recent announcement that The Ball has gone gold comes with several great peices of information. First: It has a release date, October 26th. Second: It will have a pre-order starting the 18th. And Third: For those KF fans who pre-order The Ball will get an exclusive bonus character. The main character from The Ball!

Stay tuned for more information on this and the upcoming Killing Floor Content Update.

$20 is a lot for a skin. That's more than I paid for RO, KF, and all the skin packs together. I don't even know what it looks like because the only picture that's been posted was from facebook. I can't even wait for a sale because it's pre-order only.

I'll still buy it, but I'm not real happy about it. The firebug weapon had better be great or I'll shake my fist at the sky in impotent rage.

Don't buy The Ball just for the new character. Buy The Ball because it is awesome, and as an added bonus for pre-order, you get a new character for that other awesome game you already play.

Read the previews, and soon the reviews. It is a great game all on its own!

Steg - if you are willingly paying $20 for just a skin, then you are quite moronic.

Sure, as a pre-order bonus alongside a new game, that's great, but why the Hell would you consider paying that sort of money just for a new skin?

Uh, the $20 is for the game. You get the skin if you spend $20 to pre-order. You're not paying $20 for the skin itself.
