I found forty quid under my keyboard... :IS2:

I don't know if this should be in the F***you day thread but being a positive sort of chap, I'll just leave this here.

This is my "favorite" nephew, he is a son of a gun and a little too clever for his own good and was surely drunk as a skunk...

Wish us all luck.

He was so lucky. Tell him a bunch of basement dwellers like me wish him well. :)

I got up this afternoon and came to the crashing realization that I'm in the best shape I've been in for years, and am not too far away from the sort of shape I used to be in when I boxed and played football (Aussie rules football).

Had a mini awwwww yeaaaah moment about that :D

I got my 'co-op' position yesterday, basically an internship through university. Pay is $20 an hour at a local place downtown working on a password software project they have. Basically someone can know your password and type it in and it wont work.

Spent the day in front of Autodesk Inventor Pro 2011, and got paid for it! My god - imagine getting paid to spend all your time doing the same thing you'd be doing as a hobby?

At the end of the day, when it hits 1630, I've been genuinely pissed that I have to go home and I can't do more stuff at work.

This is a novel experience for me.

And congrats Peter.Steele! I hope it pans out for you. Making a living doing what you love to do is the ultimate prize of a working man's life.
