You will find all you need, links and stuff.
There is a server running, I played on-line a while ago (on the Kelly's Heroes Server). A good time was had by all.
I've downloaded a mission named Dak Seang Tigers made by Frantz,(to be found on page 5/MP with VTE thread).
I have played it as a SP mission it works but it is in fact MP coop.

Its a real MOD but WIP as they say.
Recomended...

Our colleagues at armabase.de have released the video which they took during their visit to the GC in Leipzig showing the High Commander feature which we will be able to use in Arma 2.

The "High Commander" Mode allows you to command different troops in battle in a much easier and precise way. You can also use it to view the status of single soldiers. All this allows you to coordinate your troops in a massive battle in a much easier way.

In the campaign you will slowly learn how to use the "High Commander" Mode. At first you will only be coordinating a few different units but while the campaign progresses you will be using it to coordinate your troops movement all over the conflict area.
In MP the "High Commander" Mode will also be a very powerful tool.

In the video which you can view below you will see the USMC engage a city in which the rebels have hidden themselves.
Ivan Buchta will explain how this tool functions as well as give some additional information.
At the end of the video you can see a special of Guitar Hero with Elton from Pro 7.
The quality of the video is not really the best but armabase.de has said a downloadable version will be available soon.

Thanks to Ivan Buchta and Jan Prazak of Bohemia Interactive as well as the team from armabase.de for sharing all this new information about Arma 2 with the community.

Thanks for all the info, much appreciated. I'll give this a try when I have more time.

I was searching for Vietnam War based mods for ArmA and I found this:

The Unsung Vietnam War Mod

Looks like a quality mod for sure, and not to mention the release date shouldn't be too far off.

I liked how one of the soldiers used a root that was sticking up out of the ground for cover, then gets up and runs right through it. Meanwhile, the guy talking was all "look how he's using cover and protecting himself."

AI is still lying down too often. Even in non-direct combat modes. I don't know the real drill, but lying down and getting up sucks up too much energy that I'd avoid it.

It's best to take cover behind something rather than lying everywhere but seems like Bohemia is doing it easy way again . . .

I played a mission on-line last night that uses the revival script.

As I said before I am interested to see how this will work in ArmA II, being able to patch up your buddies and squad mates. From this perspective all is well and good.

Last night I got shot and wounded and was unable to move, so I was there waiting for someone to come and fix me up.
Unfortunately the enemy were patrolling the area making myself an unacceptable risk.
Takes military simulating one step beyond.

Is it good for gaming, that is another question...
This is one aspect I will be keeping me eyes on...

Any of you guys playing online these days? Have re-installed Arma to 1.14 and looking for some online action. Anybody still playing this and could recommend a server?

I've spent a couple of evenings on the Kelly's Heroes server recently.
They do co-ops quite often.

i spent the last 2 weeks of my vacation mostly playing " Evolution Red ",the version for the russian side of " Evolution Blue " and i must say its excellent!
Also there almost a server available to play on - best 12h games i played yet :D

If u play vs real people u should probably take a server under 150 ping,if u play vs KI its not that important ...

This has probably been asked in the thread before, but do you guys all use the STEAM version? I'm thinking it about buying it off there and I just want to know if that version is fine and if it's moddable.
