hmmm im kinda stuck on mission 4
i have to get into the capital and help a stuck unit by killing a sniper
but whereever i go there are BMP2's guarding the streets and i have no possibilities to kill them (no AT avalible in my squad)
my teammate keep getting killed as they just stand around on the middle of the street while i try to sneak throught the buildings

any tips?

there is also no info at all from wich direction i should move in on the target, ect
basically im stuck while not knowing what the hell im supposed to do

The sniper is on top of the middle fuel/reservoir/storage tank.

If we are talking about the same mission...

Couple of questions:

1. How can I turn the ****ing annyoing motion blur off without completely disabling post processing?

2. Why do my teammates advance as slow as **** if I yell danger (why the **** do I even need to tell them that? They should be able to figure it out themselves) even if I run 100 meters ahead of them. Isn't one of the main principles that you're supposed to keep up with your squadleader?

3. Why my AI mates can't keep up with me if we're advancing in a line formation? -_-

4. Also where do the custom campaign files go? None of the "mission designers" bother to put in installation instructions.

1. You can't, unfortunately.
2. If you yell danger, your telling them to expect to be attacked. Therefor, they advance slowly and stick to cover when they can, and use leapfrogging.
3. Put them in 'aware'-mode.
4. Create a 'Campaigns'-folder, then put the campaign.pbo in there.

Also, you can be less agressive in your approach to the game. Makes me wonder why i even bother to answer your questions.

Why? I don't like it but I'm trying to, it's not like I offended you, or did I? :rolleyes:

What should I expect from a "hardcore war simulation"? That it fails at squad tactics?
Maybe I'm just too fast... Also, is there any way to assign a hotkey to red/*addcolor here* teams after I have assigned different people to them. The spacebar quickcommand thing is good, but I can only command the whole squad with it.

I think someone modded a no-blur effect, would have to look around on Armaholic or BIS forums.

1. Turn PP of and pump up the rest.
I keep it on low and the rest on normal.

2. While in danger tell them to fall into formation =

Turn of Post Processing or set it to low.
I've tried all the combinations, I believe that keeping pp on low and the rest on normal is about the best compromise available.

If you turn of pp = no bloom and no motion blur.

Just go by the south road and hide from the BMP, it will pass and will be destroyed after a while. Then you can rush to flank the sniper

beta is standalone install and uninstall will not touch your original files and works also with any download distribution
